We went here for my daughters birthday. Service was decent, food was good, but my daughter left a birthday card with $20 in dollar coins on the table. It was obvious it was not a tip as it was inside an envelope that said "Happy Birthday" on it. When we realized she left it, I immediatly called the restaurant to see if they had found it. They did not ask when we were in, what table we sat at, who our waitress was, just "no, no money was left at the table". They didn't want to take my number in case they found it when cleaning up. We were there toward closing time during the week, so it's not that they had a lot of tables full either. I called the manager the next day, he also didn't need to talk to his staff but assured me no money was left on the table. I would not spend money somewhere that the employee's will take a childs birthday money after we just spend $120.00 in food plus tip. Honesty will get you a lot farther in life than a...
Read moreWe are from out of town & enjoy stopping here every once in a great while. We normally have a good experience. However, for Mother’s Day, I took my wife & children here (an hour drive). We called ahead to make sure they were open & they told us they were open. We arrived at about 2:20, (40 minutes before close) & were told they were not seating anyone because they were behind on cleaning tables. This was upsetting, we ordered food to go and ate it in the car. I asked the girl at the counter about when they decide if they’re going to close early & her response was, “it just depends on how behind we are.” If you are going to tell people you are open on a holiday, especially when driving from way out of town, you need to honor your word & your advertised...
Read moreFriendly and courteous owners and staff -- outstanding service. They have an extensive menu. My favorite appetizers are the pan-fried dumplings. All of their soups are great. And while there is something for everyone, you will never go wrong with any of their Szechuan dishes. It's a pleasant place to dine with or without the kids. I dare anyone to eat here and say they didn't enjoy the experience. I wish them a long and prosperous life. Washington is lucky to have the Panda...
