I ordered a large pizza and wings directly from the website for delivery from this location. I received confirmation at 8:09 PM with a 44 minute delivery expectation.
I tracked my order 45 minutes later and it was marked as delivered, so I contacted the store for an update. According to the employee who answered my call, the pizza was still en route even though it was marked as delivered. 30 minutes later, the pizza had not arrived, so I called the store again and was informed that the driver had three orders to deliver so he was delayed. That wouldn’t have been an issue had my order not been marked as delivered because I couldn’t accurately estimate the arrival of my order.
30 more minutes later, the pizza had not arrived and I called back to speak with a manager. The manager was unavailable and the same employee I’d spoken with earlier stated that she’d cancel my order and the refund would be processed within 5 business days. At 10 PM, I received a call from the delivery driver stating he’d arrived and I informed him that I canceled the order.
I contacted the store again to make sure the order was canceled since the driver still attempted the delivery. Without verifying my name or order number, the manager “confirmed” my order was canceled. When I questioned her confirmation based on limited information, the lady mentioned she was the assistant manager and knew for sure my order was canceled; however, she did not get a chance to contact the driver.
Out of the five calls I made to the store, there was never an apology for the inconvenience but there was plenty of attitude and irritation. 6:33pm my roommates and I order 2 double topping pizzas. For religious purposes, one of the pizzas had to be meatless. The pizzas arrive around 7:30 and we were initially impressed with the decent turnaround time for a Friday night delivery. We soon realize they had messed up on one pizza and put pepperoni. I call, and fairly reasonably explain the situation- it could have been an easy mistake. The gentleman apologized and explained a pizza would be sent to us within a half hour.
9pm- A whole TWO HOURS later-tired of waiting for the phone to ring- like a pathetic high schooler waiting for the boy to call- I decide to make the move and call Papa John’s to check on the status of my pizza. The lady who answered was extremely rude and hung up on me after yelling “the delivery is almost to your door!” So I wait. Again. Like a pathetic high schooler. And I consider myself a fairly reasonable, understanding, and patient human being. But after another 32 minutes I called again to inform the lady- the pizza was most definitely not at my door. That’s right folks- I pulled a Karen. The woman then immediately transferred me to hold, where I waited for 15 minutes, knowing fully well she had no intention of bringing me back into the line. Then my roommates each called and the woman yelled and hung up on them as well.

Read moreI usually order from the 11th street store and am happy with their pizza tonight however I tried to order their $10 special of two large two topping pizza for takeout online.Their site would only let me order one pizza and wouldn't let order the second.After multiple attempts online I called the store to order the "special" .The woman t as king my order said ok and repeated the order back to me, and told me it would be 20 minutes until the oder was ready. I get to the store and she rings my oder up and tells me it's now $27 and change. I'm like "that's not what t was listed online and what's the problem"? She tells me there's tax and I'm saying "Not $12 or more in tax"! Then she says ,"well that's the online special and you called the order in". I'm now explaining I've called in orders before and that's never been a problem, then she goes on to say "well our policy has changed" ! So a few more seconds of conversation goes nowhere and now I'm angry AND hungry so I pay for the pizzas and leave.
