The new owners have owned this place for a few months. After avoiding pub 282 for almost a year, I decided to try it out again.
Extremely disappointing experience. I was only in there for about 10 minutes and felt so unwelcomed that I decided that I was leaving and probably won't come back.
I ordered a well cocktail was extremely overpriced, but the worst part was the young bartender who waited on me. When I came in and sat down, there were maybe three other tables in the place, and of that only a handful of people were sitting in the bar area. I sat by myself at a table for approximately 4 minutes until the bartender decided to come wait on me.
I ordered a well cocktail, which was far more expensive than any other place locally. I was asked if I wanted food, and I responded asking if they were closing soon. The bartender told me that they were closing in about 30 minutes, and already I could feel her negative vibe so I didn't push my luck by ordering any food that close to closing time. I ordered my cocktail, and she left without a word.
I drank my cocktail and surveyed the establishment. Trying to determine what had changed since the last time I had been in. They have added a jukebox, which is pretty gosh darn cool. As I sipped my cocktail, I determined that the environment was not at all welcoming and not a place that I wanted to stay for too long, so I put my debit card on the edge of the table. The bartender walked past me a handful of times before taking my card, cashing me out, and slapping my check with a pen on my table without a word.
Somehow, Pub 282 has actually gone down in service and quality and prices have gone up since the previous owners. To be honest, I don't mind spending a bit more for a drink or entertainment, but rude attitude and poor service will make me take my business elsewhere every time. The young lady that waited on me tonight clearly was not interested in providing an elevated guest experience.
Myself, my wife, nor my friends will not be back. We will continue to go next door to the golf course where at least we are greeted with a smile and some friendly banter.

Well waiting to get a table cleaned for my family of 5 and asking a staff member who was clearly already overtasked I decided to walk up and ask the manager whom was just standing there watching all this the whole time. She proceeded to rays her tone and snap at me no I have to wait for that server to finish putting in her order. I said really no one can help she said no because she was short staffed. I was like I see can you give me a rag I’ll do it myself. She then went off on how we should just take the other table I said no there are 5 and the server said not to block the walk way. Then she got upset well if you sit at the other table then you’re on the dance floor I was like should we just go somewhere else then. I am just doing what your staff advised. She was like well that other table is doing (again not my issue or fault that I am being respectful of the servers and they are not) it I was like okay. She was then like just sit there I will gave you another chair so we finally sat. We got a pizza and drinks. The pizza was 0/5 stars. My drinks were great, but the waitress didn’t come back to our table for such a long time that I had to go up to the bar and get my drink myself that I had been watching sit there. The service was extremely poor and no one working seemed to care. I tipped 10% which I felt was extremely generous given the fact that the food was awful, the service was awful, and I had to gather my own drink. The next morning, I get the notification (photo included) from my bank that they charged me a 36% tip. We went in to Pub 282 the next day and spoke to the new owner. I told him what was on my receipt, what the waitress actually charged me, and said at this point I want the entire tip refunded. He never looked for the original receipt or wanted to see my bank statement, but rather just refunded the tip in cash. The fact that he didn’t want to investigate this was odd to me.
