The food was surprisingly good given that it's a restaurant in a small town off the beaten path. Close to the 101. Has a decent selection and friendly staff. I would recommend this location. [Edit] After checking out and going up to the counter to pay for our food...which was good so don't get me wrong...we witnessed one of the kitchen staff, who was wearing gloves to handle food, also switch between using her phone and then going back to the food, without washing her hands or changing gloves. Given in this day and age...I understand maintaining a social presence but also...while working, even in my time, it was always frowned upon to play games or chill on the phone unless it's break time...while handling food...sort of against health codes within the county. I do hope this was a one time occurance and they rectify this in the future so it doesn't happen again. [Edit #2] One of the review posts on a different platform had them respond and they thanked us for the honest review and said they would take care of the problem. To see them respond to, and acknowledge the problem and fix it so quickly says that they care about their establishment and I applaud them for that.

Unassuming little restaurant that's easy to miss as you drove through town. We were hungry and turned the car around to go back and check it out on a Sunday afternoon. Glad we did. The prices were reasonable, portions were good size, and the beer selection had a good variety to choose from, including a dark beer or two, and a couple of ciders. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and at the time of our trip, dogs were being allowed in the outside area. The only thing that turned me off was the signs around the restaurant stating "cash is king" and that a 2.5% fee would be added to any bill not paid in cash. I understand card processors charge the business for each transaction, but standard practice is to factor that in to your prices, not to make customers pay more than the table next to them because they aren't carrying around $120 in cash. Again, I get how it works financially, but it's just off putting to me.

Oh my what a great stop! We had been here pre pandemic before it’s current incarnation as Quilbilly’s. We had a great bike ride earlier and this was in the way to our stop for the night. The menu is pretty flexible and even a vegan, me not the hubby, can find good options. The potatoes are baked NOT fried - an awesome find!!!! I had the veggie wrap. All of the veg is fresh so I removed the peppers and onions. The potatoes are extra but WORTH it! Hubby had the blue cheese burg and wolfed it down in a flash. He doesn’t eat red meat often but hand made patties were a must to try. We both had a beer on tap and luckily they had not only IPA but also and Irish Death for a bit of darkness🥰 Overall - STOP and enjoy a local eatery and support the small town staff!

I'd rather give a 3 1/2, but obviously google doesn't allow that. So my wife and I both chose burgers and we did one with their baked fries. The fries, while definitely unique, were quite good but I feel they would have been elevated to excellent with another 5-7 minutes in the oven. As a chef and restaurant owner I feel they probably don't because of wait times and I totally understand. I got the Bleu cheese and bacon burger and my wife got the avocado bacon one (I don't remember the exact names). Mine had great flavor except the meat was bland and a bit dry. Not over cooked dry, but more like they are using a low fat grind (90% lean) which leads to that happening. My wife said hers definitely needed seasoning and was disappointed with only one piece of avocado on the burger. All in all I would come back and definitely try something else as the burger had all the makings of being great if it was just tweaked a bit. Personally, I wouldn't order one again, but am definitely going to try some of there...

I was in need of a place to stop for a bite on my way to meet a friend for a cabin getaway. I stopped at Quilbilly's, and could not have asked for a better experience. It was obvious that they were extremely busy as well as short-staffed. Yet the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I ordered a dinner to go and let them know that I was going to wait in my car since my dog was with me. I planned on going back in after about 20 minutes. 15 minutes later the staff member who took my order CAME OUT TO ME, not only with my dinner- but with treats for my pup as well. In addition to their amazing customer service, their food is amazing- the chicken avocado sandwich was by far one of the best sandwiches I have ever had- I think they used an entire avocado on my sandwich alone! I would recommend upgrading your order for their delicious fries as well! If ever I find myself back in Quilcene, I will also find myself back at Quilbilly's! (as...
