Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Washington

Love the coffee and the service. Everyone is always super nice so 5 stars for that but your lids to your cups SUCK! I’m a pretty frequent customer and loved how you can purchase a cup to use with a solid lid that screws on. However you are not taking those anymore. More than once has the lid popped off and made a huge mess and caused for a 20 min drive back home for a change of clothes. People I’ve talked to have had the same issue so it’s not just a me experience. People who stop here probably drink coffee on the regular and nothings more frustrating than a spilled or dumped coffee that you just purchased! To anyone thinking about stopping here for coffee bring your own cup or beware that you’re probably going to wear it on your car ride! I've been getting matcha here for over a year and today it just randomly was a different color and tasted alot like coffee and just bad in general, there was also green powder at the bottom that I'm assuming was matcha mix that didn't get mixed in. It was busy there with 4 cars in front of me and normally I go when it's not busy. I went at 2ish in the afternoon. I don't know why or how coffee ended up in matcha. The specific drink i got on the app was a Iced matcha latte with honey sweetner, strawberry cold foam and strawberry flavor and the drink i got had barely any cold foam and no strawberry flavor or sweetness from the honey and I've gotten this exact drink before and it did not taste this bad. It’s not a bad coffee shop and the drive through is convenient but the route is a little dangerous and it’s only a matter of time before an accident takes place with the exit and entrance right off of the 4 lanes and it only fits roughly 1 vehicle going in and out. I haven’t had much trouble with my orders, but I will say this, this one struggles following description of someone’s order especially when they order off the app. So I’m starting to think don’t waste your time on the app with this location.
