My daughter is 13 and had been saving $ for a cool cup. We called ahead of time (about 15 min drive) and asked if they had the new cups. She said āyes hurry in they will all sell quicklyā so we rushed there and secured the cup. We go to check out and they tell us we canāt purchase it until tomorrow, mind you there is a FULL ENTIRE DISPLAY UP of cups. Not setting up. Just full setup no signs nothing. And she repeats āIām so sorry thereās nothing we can doā I even tell her we drove there because the lady on the phone advised us to. My daughter was upset. I understand this doesnāt seem like a big deal but to her it was and knowing we couldnāt go back in the morning because she was in school and me working was even more upsetting for her. Maybe donāt put displays up if customers canāt purchase. Or make sure everyone is aware before hand to not tell people to come in if we actually canāt buy them. Iāll definitely deal with other Starbucks over this one from here on out, thereās literally no way she absolutely couldnāt have sold us the cups. I was a lead at Starbucks too long to know she was just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: This store ended up turning everything around and really treated me like family. I updated the star rating because they really worked hard to make up for everything as well. Now that I am out of state, I miss going there to get my regular drink.
I spoke to Rachel on the 3rd occurrence of them messing up my mobile app order. They gave me an oatmeal with nothing! The other times I ask for light ice and 3/4 is ice. Rachel the manager today is who messed up my drink. I talked to her and she says I'm sorry I don't know why it's happening and it's only with you. Probably because I'm a daily customer and share feedback. The review below me by Heather seems to have the same problem! I let them know each time. If it happens again, you'll get the drink on us. I'm a daily customer since that location opened, that will go to a different Starbucks if it happens again. Rachel needs training, way to make a customer feel validated, she was "too busy" to take a moment to solve this. The other staff as been amazing - recently there have been changes and unfortunately, not good ones with orders...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIm transit driver for Pierce County. I am at Starbucks 5-6x per week to get my spinach & egg white wrap & caramel coffee . All the Pierce County Starbucks know me. However, I went into a Starbucks on Mountain hwy e, in Spanaway WA to use the restroom (coffee makes me pee š¤). I was told I had to buy something. I said I do every morning, and asked if they wanna see my drink i recently purchased. They said yes, I went got my half full drink from my pierce transit work van. When I waved it while doing the pee-dance, Myhlei Grub-the manager said "you have to buy something in order to use our bathroom- but I could sell you the cheapest thing on the menu". I was shocked, and felt betrayed. I asked who's the manager, and she said she was and happily handed me her business card. The other employees had a look on their face that said- what the hell!?! I vowed to never shop Starbucks again, and now im stuck with all these reusable cups (about 30 of them). I called head quarters, and was told I would get a call back, but never did. So, yeah- I broke up...
