This is one of the Starbucks that I go to frequently and for the most part, I've had good experiences but lately, it has gone downhill. I've shown up several times with their store being closed early and particularly today, I showed up at 6:10pm and they were closed. There was no sign posted and several people were behind me in line in the Drive-Thru with no knowledge of them closing early either. The drive-thru menu screen was completely black. Usually, if I go to a Starbucks and they're closed, the drive-thru menu screen is still lit up and there is an automated voice that says "sorry, we are closed". So, in this case, I thought the screen was black because it was broken so I kept saying hello and once I got no response after a few times, I pulled up to the window and there was a barista there. It looked as if she were working/making a drink. She would not turn her head anywhere near the window and I kept trying to wave and beep the horn a few times and she would still not look. I finally knocked on the glass and then she looked over and yelled "we're closed" and kept going back to doing whatever she was doing. I yelled back to put up a sign if they are closed. Their website says they close at 7:30 p.m. and this was a whole hour and 20 minutes before that. My top favorite Starbucks is on Meridian next to South Hill Mall and I will continue to go there instead. Much better and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust want to say how much I appreciate everyone at this Starbucks location! I come almost daily now and always have kind service. But wanted to share an experience I had that was above and beyond for me. I was running late and the line was backed up for a bit. Busier morning for them than I am use to. I had ordered a food item too which I do intermittently. But because I was running late after I got my drink, I left and completely forgot I had ordered a food item. I realized it 30 minutes later but no way I would be able to go back. I debated calling for a refund which always feels bad and like a hassle. So I just decided to let it go. I went back the next morning for just my usual drink this time and the staff on recognized me and said I had not gotten my food yesterday and asked if I wanted a refund or if I wanted the food item this morning. It was such a great and kind experience that I appreciated very much. The kindness and professionalism of your Baristas are part of the reason I continue to come to Starbucks! Especially this location. They make my favorite drink right the most consistently of all the locations and I don't get the accidental burnt flavor. Thank you guys for your great work! Helps me start my day and I appreciate it so much! The small...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually mobile order at this Starbucks once a week for my daughter and I. Usually I have no bad experiences however, I usually donāt feel welcome and I feel like they prioritize there conversations with each other more than with customers. Today I had mobile ordered and waited more than 10 minutes for a butter croissant. I get it, they were backed up on food but they mainly prioritized the drive through. No one acknowledged me or made eye contact as Iām standing there waiting. People had ordered after me in the lobby and got their food before me. As a former partner I see and know a lot and today was not a good experience for us.. I time things very well and my daughter was late for school. Please work on making people feel more welcome and acknowledged. As well as paying attention to peopleās orders and times.. I shouldnāt have to wait 10 minutes for my order to be completed when I mobile ordered more than 5 minutes in advance! Ps.. my sage danish was cold for coming out the oven a couple minutes prior to my butter croissant. I feel like I...
