Stopped by on a Friday afternoon around 3pm to have steak for supper. The pub was around half full at it's new location. The set up is much nicer than it's old location, with very nice tables, bar and sitting. The atmosphere was nice and upbeat. There were about five bartenders on staff working at the time I came in. I ordered a beer which came in a timely manner then ordered my meal. A salad came with my meal and took around 20 min to get. When it showed up the lettuce was brown, wilted, and soggy. The ranch dressing was not enough to flavor it to eat. I then waited another 30 min for my main meal. The steak was not cooked at a medium that i had asked for, it came more rare/medium rare and was still bleeding in spots. The edges were a burnt charcoal with thick fat underneath not even seared off. The molasses bread was hard on the outside as though sitting out all day and when opened it was soggy in the middle, the flavor didn't even have flavor to it, near to eating a hockey puck filled with wet toilet paper. The baked potato was not all that to be desired either as the outside was burnt and the inside was still green. It was like eating a heated potato right out of the field. The entire time there I watched the kitchen staff going outback to get stuff out of the trunk of a vehicle, of which stuff was not food for the kitchen. The kitchen staff looked to have around four people working at the time. I would rather go back to the old place where the food was better and the wait staff was not standing around talking and not waiting on people. I would not recommend the new food to anyone wanting to eat there. This is the second time I have ordered food in one week from the new address, of which that food was also dry and over cooked. The kitchen staff needs better training on how to cook if this is to remain a restaurant...

A few months ago I got on line to read the reviews of the Summit pub on Canyon rd, I read more then enough poor reviews most of them referencing the poor service or none at all. My husband and myself decided to give the pub a try. We have been in several times trying different dishes , no poor service involving us that I would say merited a poor review. when we are spending our hard earned money in an establishment we should get treated like we as customers matter. We walked in looked for a place to sit , dirty tables or someone occupying them. We stood at a table that had dirty glasses for a few minutes as two waitresses walked passed helping others then walked off. I finally motioned one of those waitresses over, at which time she looked slightly agitated. when she arrived ..we asked if table we were at was taken and her rude reply was “ it’s not my station “ then asked “ what You drinking “? In not so nice a tone.. it’s not what she said it’s how she said it.. rude and came across as if just because not her station was putting her out. Very disappointed . We liked the food very much but, will not spend one hard earned penny in a place that makes the customers feel they are intruders.. I would NOT recommend the Summit View Pub on Canyon road ... We work hard just as next person and will not tolerate being spoken down to when we are paying for a service.. 👎 My first review on any...

We have lived right down the road for 3 years and never stopped by. After a couple friends cancelled our dinner meetup we decided to swing by and check it out. First impression... it definitely has a dive bar feel, but in a good way. I got the impression there were a lot of regulars in there but we never felt secluded. My wife and I picked a spot in the tall tables and checked out the menu. They have a large selection of what I would call typical bar food. We weren't too hungry so we split a buffalo chicken wrap and she got a side salad. The wrap was generously large and came with very good steak fries. We were glad we split it or there would have definitely been leftovers. We both had a couple drinks which were on the stiff side just how any good local pub should be. We hung out for a good long while and enjoyed each others time. Wait staff was very attentive and good at answering questions. We liked this little place and will definitely be back in the future.

10/5/22 still coming back. The best food and drinks in the area. We really don't go anywhere else and if we do we always comment how we should have gone...

Great little hole in the wall... It's a seat yourself type situation but wait for them to bring you menus. I went up to the bar and got ours and the server thought we had already been helped due to the fact we already had menus 🤦‍♀️ I apologized as it was our first time there 😂 The food was amazing!! We shared the stuffed onion rings as a starter... They were gooey and cheesy on the inside and nice and crunchy on the outside. He had the Saturday special of prime rib. Cooked to order and it was very delicious. I had the crispy chicken Caesar wrap with the spinach tortilla and sweet potato fries. I like to dip my wrap and barbecue sauce and their barbecue sauce was really good. The only downside to my wrap is the chicken pieces were cut really small and I like them to be a bit chunkier. All in all the food was really great. The atmosphere was a bar type atmosphere and they were just setting up karaoke as we left 🥰

I love love love the Summit Burger! We've had dinner here quite a few times and everyone is super friendly and that burger is amazing. The Summit chips are also fantastic. I should never have gone for breakfast on 9/28. The wait for coffee was long, the wait for food was longer. I ended up with cold eggs and bacon and warm French toast and the nastiest syrup pitcher I've ever seen. I didn't bother asking for another after seeing the one that was dropped off at the table. I did email them directly about it on Monday but did not receive a response. Not even a "sorry that pitcher was so gross." Any response that they cared even a little and would fix the issue would have made me feel a lot better about going back.

Update Oct 2021: We used to like coming here for beers and the cheap bar food. The food was always kinda mediocre, but ok for pub grub. I know the pandemic hit businesses hard, but Summit is just too expensive to stop by anymore. Original review: Service is good, beer prices are alright. Mozz sticks were delicious. Sunday steak night had been frozen for at least a month, despite insistance they are cut "last night" (I ordered the "NY steak" medium rare). I hate to say it, but that was the single worst restaurant steak I have ever had.
