The Sweet Life — Restaurant in Washington

Great ice cream/frozen shop next to Frontager's Pizza, so perfect for a light dessert after a big meal. It's crammed with all kinds of impulse buy domestic and imported candies and collectibles. My wife saw a gutted, old pedal car on the wall that she had as a young girl. I can tell you my wife has aged much more gracefully and beautifully than the car.

The shop serves Olympic Mountain Ice Cream. The young man taking our orders was very kind to wait for me to choose mine. The four stars reflect the very limited flavor choices for ice cream and frozen yogurt. However, my Huckleberry with White Chocolate Chips ice cream was superb--and I don't usually order berry-flavored ice cream. I didn't see this flavor on the online OM list so perhaps it's among the exclusive flavors offered to ice cream shops.

It was a cool (pun not intended) little shop run by very friendly people. We plan to go back to try more of the frozen flavors and, at least for me, some of the chocolate candies and peanut brittle that were...

Exceeds Expectations Do you love ice cream? Then these guys exceed expectations in terms of the purpose for their shop. The staff were kind with many great treats available in the shop. For the life of me, I can not understand how people give a poor review of this CANDY shop because they did not feel like they received a “5 star” experience. That is utter NONSENSE!

You go to a shop (or store) because of the goods that people who can help you experience those goods will deliver. Not because you thought (incorrectly, for that matter) you were going to be treated likely royalty or like you were eating at the Canlis. Don’t be obnoxious, you nonsensical humans. Enjoy the sweets, it is the Sweet Life after all...Great food and...

Pretty sad that they closed shop in the middle of business hours for 30 min so their employees can have lunch. I'm all for your employees having lunch, but it unusual for a business to completely shut down like that. All they do is put a sign out front that says "be back soon." At the very least, put a time of return if this is normal behavior for this business. We saw them lose plenty of business in the 20 plus minutes we were waiting.
