Jake's On the Park — Restaurant in Waterford

For an experienced waitress she makes you wonder if your invisible. There were only 3 tables of people in the room and everyone had food. We sat down the 3 of us. Waited to be noticed. Seen a table with a couple at it hail the waitress irritatingly for something. Finally got menus but was not asked for beverages. Anyways I'll make this short and sweet we finally did get beverages a few waters in an orange juice we placed our orders and waited it was a simple breakfast order so it didn't take very long the kitchen was prompt our orders were putting the window and sat under the dry lights and we watched our food sit under the lights for some time as our waitress continued to slowly clean up tables around us even though there is no other patrons that needed serviced in the restaurant and clearly our food was sitting in the window there was absolutely no reason for her to lag cleaning tables up around us and avoid bring your food to the table in a prompt manner when she did bring her food to our table it was cold and eating cold eggs is not very pleasant so needless to say she did not get the percentage of tip that is well deserved by good service so unfortunately I will not be giving full amount of stars for this restaurant although the cook staff should get 5 stars they always make the best meal and the restaurant itself is pleasant and clean as always but the unfortunate service staff this is the second time I've had problems with them and until they improve I refuse to give...

This is a great family friendly play all the usual things you would think for breakfast are there but they're all made really well and let me tell you these pancakes are the size of a plate you only need to order one and you will be stuffed there's plenty of lunch options freeze salad sandwiches and there's dinner options as well everything is really cheap made really good. The staff are welcoming and friendly which makes you want to return again and again. No issues with parking it was easy to pay and get out just use a debit card go up to the register you can leave a tip there or on the table. What I like is there is a bowl full of creamer on the table for your coffee which is nice because at a lot of restaurants I've been to I have to try to get the waitresses attention and it can take 10 minutes just to get some more creamer not here it's already full and then they will come around and fill it up here and there which is super nice. I enjoyed this place my kids enjoy it I plan to come back for anything those giant pancakes they're so big...

Food is over priced and awful. Ordered a hot meatloaf sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans; cheeseburger and onion rings; popcorn chicken and french fries. Meatloaf was a very under seasoned and a dry piece of burger, potatoes were barely warmed through and had been sitting around for quite a while. Green beans were previously frozen, also barely warm, and tossed on the plate with plenty of water so my potatoes were swimming. Cheeseburger was made from a frozen patty and was topped with raw cooking onions that we're pungent enough to knock a horse out with one sniff. And none of the aforementioned items had one speck of seasoning. A little salt can't go a long way. The popcorn chicken and fries were eaten by my toddler who does not have a discerning palete.
