Our first time dining here. Read some wonderful reviews so we thought we would try it for date night. We are venturing out to local restaurants instead of chain restaurants. Nice, cute, CLEAN, small space. Was a little loud, but with the small space, and good number of people, it was expected, but didn't really bother us. The server was very polite, and touched our table often, which was appreciated. So, that is the 4 stars. The 2 stars for the food on the other hand. We got the toasted ravioli for an appetizer, husband got the lasagna with lemon chicken and rice soup, I got the chicken spendini with salad with house made vinegrette, and pasta tossed in EVO. ravioli hubby said was really good. The soup was unique, and tasty, I tasted and agreed, a hint of lemon, plenty of chicken and rice, and was creamy. the salad was good, the dressing was good - I would love that recipe. we then get to the entrees. I am not going to say they were bad, we are going to say different than we expected. I did not expect chicken spendini to be stuffed with a spinach filling, the pasta was under dressed, and light. The lasagna was with sausage instead of ground beef, extremely light on sauce. Again, the flavors were not what we had expected, and personally would not order again. Another trip with different choices, maybe more questions about ingredients, maybe would be different. We were asked if everything was ok, but how do you tell them you didn't like it when others ate everything, or took home leftovers. We just didn't want to ruin an experience, or our date night. Just our experience. with our choices, it may have...
Read morePoor service and quality all around. Ordered cheese garlic bread and toasted ravioli as appetizers; the bread was decent, but the toasted ravioli were no better than frozen varieties. Salads were tiny and made from bagged lettuce (even the Caesar one). Cod scampi was good, just cold, as well as the pasta. The pizza was no better than frozen as well. My biggest gripes were that service was EXTREMELY slow, and we were overcharged for 2 of our meals (dinner prices vs lunch). When I questioned the waitress about the overage, she had “discuss it with her manager”. After waiting several minutes, I went up to the bar area to find out what was taking so long. While explaining my situation, some guy (I assume to be a worker) throws his hands in the air like I was making a big deal of nothing. It was an overage of $25! Instead of crediting my card, the waitress gave me cash to make up the difference. Definitely would not recommend; IMO’s would have been 100% better! Heck, Fazoli’s would have...
Read moreI’ve gone to Fredericos for years and was incredibly disappointed with our experience tonight. We ordered two of the special menu items for the night: lobster ravioli. It arrived as regular beef ravioli. When we pointed this out, the owner attempted to convince us it was actually lobster mixed with brown sauce and sage. After she confirmed the cooks did not use lobster she did not offer to write off the dishes or even provide a discounted rate to the cost of the special menu item. She blamed the cooks. She offered to remake the lobster ravioli if we could wait for it to be cooked. Already having been there for an hour, we declined. On top of this, she messed up my salad order. It was not busy whatsoever in the restaraunt. If it wasn’t the owner that did this, I would understand. She said to us as we were paying, “I’m really sorry. It seems everything just went wrong tonight.” Just terrible customer service overall. Hope they realize they are pushing out their...
