Tony & Sons Seafood — Restaurant in Watertown

I walked in here after seeing the 'Fish and Chips' sign out front. I know my mother loves F&C, so I thought I might get her some. I am so glad I did. After walking in, I remembered going there with her when I was a kid. To me, it smelled odd. I never really liked seafood, still don't, but I appreciate it and wish I did. The smell when I was young wasn't really bad, I just wasn't used to it and didn't like it. My brother asked if it smelled 'fishy' like it used to. I said, "Not at all. It's really updated, with a lot of choices. I will go back." He hadn't gone in either, and he lived around the corner at a time. The staff was nice and helpful. I asked about Tony, and they thought he retired out west. I hope that for him. The fish and chips were a big hit with my family. I have been going to Tony's for about 5 years now. I didn't go for a period of a year because I was ill and in the hospital for a non covid illness. I returned this past January and received a big welcome back! They even remembered my favorite orders!! Their seafood is always freshUnlike many of the other local markets. This is one of those places that you enter and the smell just takes you away. I'm a fan of smoked food and that is the smell you get instantly when you come in front door. I went there because I saw a sign for fish and chips. It was okay not the best I've had as I prefer the beer batter style over the breaded Style. But there are so many things in that shop that were interesting and I wish I could afford to come over there everyday for a while. Want to check to see if their lobster bisque is this good as mine.
