I have been a loyal customer of Rosati’s pizza in Wauconda for 4 years. I love the pizza here but unfortunately, the customer service is so bad that I will no longer buy from here again. Today, May 12 2024, at around 8:30pm I went to get my order. When I was ready to pay, I realized that I had forgotten my coupons that I get every time I get the pizza. I had forgotten my coupons before but because the cashiers see me all the time, they let me use the coupons that come with the pizza. They even offer me the coupons without bringing my own. Today the cashier, who appears to be a young petite Hispanic lady and with all respect a little over weight(so sorry to describe her but she said she could not give me her name), was so mean and disrespectful. She not only did not give me the discount but she made me feel like if I was trying to take advantage. Like I said, I buy Rosati’s pizza at least 3 times a month and this cashier sees me all the time. This incident has happened before with the same cashier and I get it, I should bring the coupons, but her attitude was just so mean that I cannot get over it. Also, there was another Hispanic young man that came out and, also began to give me an attitude without even paying attention to what the deal was. There was another man around mid 40’s who politely suggested I called the manager tomorrow and just take screen shots of the coupons next time. Honestly I care less about the coupons, it was the attitude and the poor customer service that the young cashier and the the young man exhibit today. Sadly, I will be taking my business...
Read moreThis is a difficult review for me. I have always liked Rosati's and their food options. But this particular branch has some serious issues it needs to work out for them to reach the 4 star level I would offer any other Rosati's locations. Their food is just as good as other Rosati's locations, so that is not the issue. Unfortunately, the staff there is generally rude, uninterested and often sounds like your phone call/visit is seriously inconveniencing them. This is the only restaurant in town where I have ever called their main number during peak dining times and let it ring for at least 60-90 seconds with absolutely no answer. When I have spoken with them, the person taking the order has been minimally responsive to the point of simply replying "uh-huh" or "yeah" to my orders and not even giving time or cost of order before ending the conversation and hanging up. And when I have come to the store, if there is someone in the front when I arrive, I am often met by a blank stare instead of a greeting until I mention I am there for a pick-up. The transaction is handled with very little if any verbal communication. The only things saving this rating from 1 star is that it is a Rosatti's branch. I hope this does change...
Read moreLong time Rosati's customer. Very disappointed in the service from the Wauconda,IL store. Ordered a Pizza tonite Monday October 10/07/2013. I was informed delivery orders would take 1 hour. Delivery arrived early and I had stepped next door with out my cell phone for an emergency. Upon returning I noticed missed calls on my cell phone so I called the store. The gentlemmen was rude and acted bothered with my call. After a few moments he said that they would try and get the pizza back out to me but gave no guarantee or even a time frame. I said look I understand the situation, but I am a very good customer and bypass 5 other pizzerias to order from Rosati's. He informed me that perhaps I should order a pizza one of those places and hung up. Very disappointing that in today's economic climate a customer would be treated that way. I have been on the fence for awhile anyway as it appears recently the franchise was taken over by new ownership. Perhaps there should be a message sent that this is not a college town, so unshaven, unruly,pothead, rude college kids are probably not a formula for success! Big time disappointed! I know that Gary and Lisa would have never tolerated this...
