Billy D's Pub — Restaurant in Waukesha

A great place! But the service was bad. First she told me she could not make me a margarita yet on my receipt I was charged for margarita.. I ordered rail tequila with water and a lemon and lime. Rail being part of the happy hour... then I ordered a pretzel which she went and poured the cheese sauces for, then played a game of bar dice and then went and put my pretzel in the oven. So when I got the bill and asked why I'm being charged for a margarita she said because that's what I made you. But yet how could you make me a margarita when you told me earlier you couldnt so then we talked about improvising and I said use rail tequila. She said well we don't have real tequila, but you didn't say that before you made my drink. She just made my water and tequila with what that they had and charged me for margarita. I understand it's only a matter of a couple of dollars but it's just the whole series of events in the hour and a half I was there. Ridiculous service... the friends I was with go there 3 times a week and said they've never seen her...

Usually I’ve had a great time at Billy d’s (good food, great atmosphere, great bartenders) but a recent experience with a bartender has set me back. I was going with a friend to show the bar and had brought up that my license was a different orientation (born in 97) and the bartender freaked out and gave MY ID to a RANDOM patron to look at before saying she couldn’t serve me without calling her bosses. First time I was in there since the beautiful remodel was done. I couldn't believe what a really cool place we all have to enjoy in Waukesha. Nicole was serving behind the bar, yes, Nicole from the Sports Dock. Always making you feel welcome as she introduces everyone to each other. By the time you leave you have new friends!
