The Other Bar In Waupun — Restaurant in Waupun

Took our kid there for lunch. It was pretty busy so figured we would have to wait a little while until our food would arrive. So order a drink, and order appetizers and our meal ( a burger, chicken tenders and a wrap) . And we waited, and waited and waited, and waited, and waited some more very patiently and as politely as well as we could with a 2 year old. Over an hour + goes by.. no food, no appetizers, no response from our waitress..

We started Noticing, As other people ate and departed. More New folks arriving after us. We waited and watched their table and magically they got served their food before our order. and it was pretty quickly they got their order. Which was a few chicken wraps and some other things.

To be honest, we were disappointed. To see other people who showed up after us, to get their food before us. Especially waiting 1+ hours. So My husband went up to ask about how our food was coming and they didnt even have a time on how much longer. So they gave us our drinks for free and we left.

Unfortunately, we had to go to McDonald's because our kid was starving after waiting over 1+ hours for lunch. But on the upside, we spent $11 at McDonald's instead of over $80. So honestly, it even sucks worse for this business, because we are from the area trying a new places out. Probably would have came back again & again if the food was good. But unfortunately, I don't think we will ever be back. We'll try other places and move on from this bar. I hope ither have better luck...

Not our first time eating here but first time we have gotten an appetizer. Hands down the best beer battered cheese curds I have ever eaten!! I usually like the breaded kind vs beer battered but these were amazing!! My husband and I sat at the bar and we were able to eat right at the bar. It was very comfortable no lip on the bar so it wasn't awkward to try and eat our fish fry. He got the blue gill with hot German potato salad. I thought the potato salad had a little too much vinegar, but im picky. He really liked it. He loved his fish also. I got the 2 piece haddock with chippers. Fish was amazing, lite batter not heavy and greasy. The chippers came with a French onion dip but it wasn't very strong, it has been better. My chippers were pretty greasy and soggy, I've had better there also. I like them crispy! Very nice place to eat. I highly recommend Friday night fish fry! I do not normally post reveiws; but this was so bad I am giving the owner or manager a chance to know what happened. Tonight; a Friday; I placed a to-go order for two fish frys and a pizza. Showed up at the appropriate time for pick up to find out the pizza I ordered was given away to another to-go. They did not take my phone number so they could not let me know. They did however recognize me as about a month ago I had placed a to-go order where a pizza I ordered was 86'd and again with no phone number, could not let me know. To one young bartender's credit, after happening tonight she did say, "maybe we should start getting phone numbers with to-go orders." I would suggest it.
