Have been going to Sullivan's for several years, service great and food delicious! We decided to have our wedding reception dinner there recently for 42 people. Service and wait staff great that night!! Chose this place because my family loves perch. We paid for 22 (4 shrimp) seafood dinners and almost all went un-ate and in the garbage. Perch and shrimp overcooked, dry, hard and crunchy. 1 person asked for a different menu item. Bride and Groom ate a few pieces and threw the rest out. We felt funny asking for another plate and hoped are guests wouldn't have too. Our bill was $1400, a few cocktails, 20 bottles of wine for guests with 20 % gratuity included. Several days later we heard from family and friends how bad the perch was and didn't eat it. We called Natalie, the manager, she listened to our concerns but did not address them. Husband called back several days after that and Natalie said she would talk to the cook and return his call. Monday came and no return call. Husband called today and spoke with the owner, who said "we should have said something that night and actually we got off cheap'" He offered no resolution, no gift card/ percentage of money back. But he did invite us to return in the future. WOW- I cannot believe the lack of customer service or concern from this restaurant owner. We spent a lot of money for our wedding and this was very disappointing. Needless to say we will not return nor will any of our family...
Read moreWill not be going back. SULLIVANS used to be a staple in our family but after tonight’s service I will not return. I specified with my server that I have celiacs disease meaning that I need to stay away from gluten and I ordered the chicken bites which have an option to be gluten free; I’ve ordered them before. She brushed it off not even writing it down essentially telling me that I would be fine, acting like I was talking about cleanliness procedures instead of an allergen issue. She returned with fried and breaded chicken and then was frustrated when I asked her to take them back because I couldn’t eat them. A different waitress brought out my food for me but because the first waitress didn’t write down that I had a gluten allergy, they took the fries off of the plate with the gluten and stuck them on the new plate with only a couple pieces of grilled chicken. I wouldn’t have known that they came from the original plate except for the fact that there was breading all over the plate and a massive chunk of it beneath the fries. I haven’t had many issues with SULLIVANS in the past but this will make me take my business elsewhere. If you have a food allergen or would like to be listened to by your sever unfortunately this might not be your spot… the grilled chicken slapped in the but at...

Me: (is there an expectation to pick them off?) the person ordered a sandwich without and has one with DM: What do you want me to do? Me: (long pause, because I don't expect a decision-maker to ASK a question) I'd like a sandwich without mushrooms for the person who ordered one that way
New sandwich was picked up and the one bitten into was asked for! Um...once bitten, it kind of just kept getting eaten like a hungry person who chose to order your food does...the one who really wanted with mushrooms can eat one without, no? And these were eaten in separate locations. All I wanted to do was treat someone to a sandwich that...
