Rochelle's BBQ — Restaurant in Waverly

First let me say we first went to McDonald's and someone didn't want that so we decided to try Rochelle's BBQ. Now we were coming from Memphis and was not sure about this place. But what can I say it was the BEST choice!!! All the food we got was so good and they were so nice and courteous!!! The owner Mr. Rochelle was so extremely nice and made us feel so comfortable and at home. He even brought us a sample of ribs and PEOPLE let me say those are the best ribs EVER!!! I am not a rib person but they were so GOOD that I got some to go!! Not only was he nice but Mrs. Kim and the young lady who took our order were as well. But the niceness didn't stop there, I ask them if they were open on Mondays when we head back to Memphis. I was told by Mrs. Kim that they were closed but if I called them on my way back and she had ribs left she would meet me at the restaurant so I could get some more ribs!! SO IS THIS NICE OR WHAT!!! I’ve eaten BBQ all over Tennessee, and I have my favorite haunts, but when we stumbled on this little gem I was blown away!!! I can honestly say, without hesitation, this was the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The sauces are homemade and unbelievable. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket you could cut with a fork and had so much flavour. The chicken was moist and flavourful, and normally I’d steer clear of chicken in a BBQ joint because it’s usually dry and bland. The Mac and cheese was buttery, creamy and oooooh so cheesy. Excellent down home BBQ! Small family owned and ran business. We got the family pack pulled pork, potato salad, homemade macaroni and cheese, with a side of baked beans, and this meal did not disappoint! The pulled pork was savory and moist before ever adding any of the homemade BBQ sauce, potato salad was excellent and seasoned perfectly, the macaroni and cheese, OMG! Probably the best I have ever had! The baked beans were delicious! The staff were very welcoming and oozed southern hospitality!
