bb.q Chicken Indian Land — Restaurant in Waxhaw

Passing by one day towards CHARLOTTE, I saw that they were building a Korean Chicken place in Indian Land. I was spectical and concerned because being Korean myself, I have eaten at a lot of Korean American restaurants and a lot of them have failed it were not to my expectations.

I ordered the Korean Galbi spicy chicken (bone In). The flavor and spice was there and was really good. Now the price was a little high for eight pieces. I also saw that they served Korean kimchi fried rice and other traditional dishes from heritage.

Why a four star? Well, when I arrived no one was in line and the lot was empty but it still took thirty minutes to cook eight wings. They don't allow a mix and match selection for any thing but a whole chicken. Also, instead of Korean pickle radish as a add on to every order, I would have tried to at least have the option of steamed rice.

Let me just say—WOW. This new BBQ Korean Chicken place in Indian Land absolutely delivers! As a longtime fan of Bon Chon in Pineville, I came in with high expectations... and they crushed it. The flavors were bold, the chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, and every bite had me saying “SOOO GOOD” out loud. No shame.They had big shoes to fill, and they did it with style. The sauces? Next-level. The sides? Delicious. The whole experience? A total win. You can tell they care about quality and authenticity, and it shows in every dish. Been here twice now, both orders were pickup. The order was ready when I got there both times. Really friendly, and even more amazing food. Tried four different sauces now and plan on trying every one. Every one is top tier delicious. Kimchi Fried Rice is probably gonna be a regular for me after I've gone through the whole menu. The boneless fried chicken has an amazing crunch, and folks, this isn't some chicken nuggets or tender, this is actual chicken in there. Portion sizes are huge so the price doesn't bother me at all.
