Please go back to making the chicken parmesan dinner the old way: chicken parm served on a bed of pasta with sautéed green beans in a separate dish on the side. Last time I went the dinner was significantly scaled down and altered: everything on one plate. It looked like a school lunch for a 10 year old. After complaining, the kind and considerate staff swore that the cook was the same. This either was not true, or the cook was instructed to economize the dish. Note to management: If you think you're saving money, you're not. I have not been back here for many months. I don't even want to try another dish fearing you probably have done this to all of your menu. I know the costs of everything has skyrocketed, but you went too far on this one. Not usually in that area (maybe once a year). Happened to be in the area and was looking for a place to eat and years earlier I had stopped there. Food was ok, nothing special, but decided to try it again. Very glad I did, the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The multiple terrible towels on the wall made me feel right at home! The only downside is the rocky entrance and parking lot, I happened to be in an expensive "low" to the ground car and not my truck, made me concerned, but if you don't have very low profile tires, your wheels should be ok. This is a great restaurant and bar. The inside is a very comfortable atmosphere. Dim lighting which I love. If it’s cold out the fireplace might be roaring and the tables near it are a hot commodity. The food had always been good and they have a big selection on the menu. There’s lots of space and I have even hosted a birthday party here. The bar is separated from the dinning room enough to forget it’s there and close enough if you want to go in, plus there’s a pool table. The staff is great and the building has a lot of history.
