Sabor Latino — Restaurant in Wayne Township

We like to just Google different places we haven't tried yet. So, we chose to try Sabor Latino. We looked over the menu, and my lady ordered the Birria plate. She was very impressed with the flavor and portion size of the meat. The refried beans were very good as well as the flavor of the salad but, unfortunately, she was not overly impressed with the rice. The rice was not bad it just lacked seasoning. The tortillas that came with had really good flavor but were just a bit too thick. I ordered the Birria burrito and crazy fries. The fries were good. I think just a bit more melty cheese would have given a little more depth of flavor. Now let's talk about the burrito. OMG, it was delicious. It wasn't super big, but it wasn't super small either. It was just a good size to fill my belly but not make me feel over stuffed. The meat and rice were seasoned perfectly, and the meat and rice filling ratio was also just the right amount for the tortilla. It came with a little cup of hot sauce that was also seasoned perfectly. It was not too hot. It had just the right amount of spicy heat, and when poured on, it gave the burrito a beautiful freshness and acidity that brightened the flavor of the burrito. Prior to Sabor Latino, there were maybe 3 places in Sioux Falls that you could order pupusas. 2/3 of those places, made them horribly. 1/3 of those places (Tienda la Guanaquita) is better than the 2 mentioned above^, but they only serve pupusas at random.
