I was excited to have a BBQ spot right up the street from me. Today I was in the mood for bbq and decided to place a takeout order, I had to call three times until I finally got a hold of someone. I placed an order, picked it up and then bought it over my mother in law's house to let her have a try. Once we opened the container we were both not satisfied.    Read moreIf I could give it 0 stars I would. This was my first and last time. I was happy to see a new place and when I entered I was excited to see African American ownership but that quickly dissipated as I saw the food. It taste just like it looks. All the disgusting bake beans was in the bottom of the bag, the chicken is dryer than Arizona in July and the burnt mac and cheese taste like it was made with new focus hope cheese that doesn't melt. I'm not a fan of wasting food but it went directly to the garbage. $14 down the drain. I'm glad I didn't spend $26 for 1 bone of beef rib. The container looks like a back yard barbecue from your Auntie house. The inside needs some sprucing up. I still can't understand why the 2 slices of white bread? The only good thing about this place is the staff...
