Taco Bell — Restaurant in Wayne

(drive thru girl was innocent!) I truly wish I could leave NO stars. I ordered two simple boxes to take home after getting off the highway. After asking to ensure the modifications were adhered to due to allergies, I waited about 8-10 minutes, checked my food, and part of it was cold. I asked for it to be cooked fresh, and it was. I live about 4 minutes from the store and went home to eat. After one bite, we knew the food wasn't fresh. My wife pointed out that all of her food had a bad taste and was extremely dry.

We took the food back and were met with a very defensive GM who quickly tried to explain that all of his product was fresh. When I showed him exactly what the issue was, the situation escalated quickly with nasty comments while processing my refund. When receiving my money, he said, "Have a good day, please don't come back," which was uncalled for.

My wife went back to get his name, and the crew (three men) didn't realize she had come back into the store. She overheard them calling us derogatory names, including "dyke bches" and "ner b*ches." Never in my entire life have we experienced anything like this. Customers eating in the store and another crew member at the drive-thru, an African American woman, had to hear her coworkers spewing racial and derogatory slurs while she worked. This bothered me most, knowing she has to work feeling uncertain and uncomfortable around a group of men who let those words slide out of their mouths so easily.

Customer service doesn't exist in this store. Poor quality, poor service. It's sad he felt the need to escalate the situation because I didn't ask for a refund; I simply wanted the food made fresh. We spend our hard-earned money and deserve fresh food, not food that should have been disposed of the night before. Please don't visit this store if you're a person of color or part of the LGBTQI+ community because this place is not...

I love taco bell, we live near the one in Wayne. They are so nice there also lately they always make tacos full with like the actual amount you see on t.v lol they don't skim on anything, nachos always full, sometimes a free drink if ur waits long or whatever, but I wanted to say this I spoke to a young lady named Michelle about tonight my nachos were missing guacamole she informed me they were out, so I asked if we could get a credit for a nacho next time and she let us come get another one with guacamole, I guess it was ready now and she provided better customer service, her and the manager provided better customer service then the big Wyndham Gardens Corporate Hotel chain, especially the one in Romulus!! I just think they are doing really good there in Wayne especially lately. Usually at a fast food chain someday u get people who make the stuff so good and other days not so much, but everytime we go it's been perfect food and also perfect customer service so whoever is running that Taco Bell now is doing a great job choosing employees and implementing AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Thank you very very much!!! Everyone there is always nice. Haven't had a bad experience or a taco with barely any meat, cheese, lettuce anything. They always make everything good. Dont go here!!!! Literally all the crew was standing outside at 6pm, pulled up to the speaker and sat there for 5 minutes with no reply! This is a joke. Another time they rang me up for the wrong item but since their screen doesn't work and they dont repeat orders I didn't know until I was handed the recepit. The cashier made it seem like I was a being annoying for wanting to get the correct item I even offered to just exchange the item instead of a refund for the price difference but then he complained the food was already made and was I going to make him ask the kitchen to remake it. I felt like such a bother I just took the wrong order and left.

This place is consistently the worst taco bell I have been to. Ive been trying to give it a chance and not write this review. Skimp on portions, the burritos are tiny and flat. They never make anything properly and slap everything together in mess. Half the time my food isn't even that warm.For about $15 for 3 items and a drink I would expect for my food to be properly made. The ingredients are not expensive I can't justify...
