White Castle — Restaurant in Wayne

It would be No stars if I could!! I made an online order with white castle on December 27th 2020 at 5:10pm for a 6pm pick up that was $63.00. It was the last bit of my money I had in the bank till tomorrow and my 6 children needed dinner! I placed my order, paid in advance and went to the location to pick up our dinner. When I got there I proceeded to the drive to get our order. The manager told me that they didn't have my order in there system and asked if I had the right location. I told her I would pull to the side and double check and come in if I was in the right place. After checking my app and screenshot of my order and I knew it was the right place I went in. I went to the counter and showed the workers my order. The manager then tried telling me I wasn't at the right location when an employee had to correct her that It was indeed the right location. (Who doesn't know the address at their job, especially a manager) I waited at the counter for 20 mins before the manager told me there was nothing she could do. She could Not refunded me my money and she could Not make me my food! So I left with no food and no $63. that I had already spent. It's the worst feeling in the world getting back into your car and having to tell your children that there is no food to eat because the fast food restaurant stole our money and I don't know what we are going to do tonight! I'll never go to this location again and someone needs to check their manager! You need a better solution then sorry we screwed you even though you have your order and...

This White Castle is conveniently located on Michigan Avenue. When heading east on Michigan Avenue or south on Venoy Road it is easy to get into the parking lot. Heading west on Michigan Avenue or north on Venoy Road takes a little planning in the case of Michigan Avenue and one left turn in the case of Venoy Road.

The parking lot and environs are kept neat and clean. The same goes for the restaurant inside. It is a classic White Castle and has all the stainless steel you could possibly hope for.

They cook up the food hot and fresh and don’t waste time. Their service at the counter might be a tad slower than that for the window but once they detect your presence the rest is easy-peasy.

I enjoy their regular burgers here especially well. Their double cheeseburgers are remarkable and I recommend them. Their fries are cooked right and have a light flavor and none of that overcooked, heavy fries experience you might be familiar with from other restaurants. Their drinks are bubbly and sparkling. Ordered 5 Double cheeseburgers with extra ketchup, mustard and pickles and a 20 cheese burgers w/ch plus extra ketchup and mustard. I received no extra anything. Also no cheese that I paid for. Why be at a job if you don't like it and or want todo it. Find something else. If I could give it a 0 I would. No I didn't go back to have my order fixed. Been there done that many of times. It should have be right the first time. I was in fast food when I was younger and customer service was a must. I would never recommend this White Castles to no one. I mean no one. I would drive to the city before I get food from this one again. I moved to Westland in 2019 and they haven't done anything right that I've ordered. I'm sure White Castle corporations won't care if they lose one customer. But, I think I'm done with it all together. White Castles fan lover since 1979 until now. One thing I heard is the manager is having friends, employees, people employees know and or family put up a positive reviews about this particular white castles.
