Papi's Place at Firehouse Diner — Restaurant in Weber City

. We ate there opening day . Service was negative 100. Waited 1.5 hour for our small order. This place keeps using the excuse "we've only been open a short time" and all food is made to order which makes zero sense. No matter where you go they cook the food lol. I owned a restaurant years ago so I know how it works. I'm very pro small business as I've always been a small business owner and supported other small businesses but this place has zero clue what they are doing it seems . My wife even got a deep cut on a metal plate they had sticking out of the door. I brought all this to their attention and I got a sentence reply. We won't be back. Plus they threatened me with legal action if I brought negativity to their page. So they are making mistakes in their business and now trying to stop free speech which if you watch their page you will see some of the negative comments deleted. You cannot threaten to call the cops for harassment if someone leaves you a negative response and that's just what this owner did. I kept his response as proof. Giving one star because thats the lowest this allows! Went here tonight with my mom and my sister. Took them 30 minutes to take our order. And we ordered tea to start with. The girl brought me unsweet, when I requested sweet tea ,and she said I'll be right back with your other one. Never did bring it. I had to go get it myself. It took over an hour to get food. They bring out mom's food first wish did not look appealing at all. She didn't eat any of it. Then they brought my sister's food out 10 minutes later and then I never did receive my order which was a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. The guy came out and talked to us. Said everything was made fresh to order is why it was taking so long. We got there at 6:00 and left at 7:45. I just told them to cancel my order. I was so frustrated. I would not recommend this place at all for anybody. It was horrible service. Not a good way to start a new business. I will not be back! My daughter's and I went to have lunch. We ordered our drinks after they were brought to us my daughter noticed some black stuff in the rim of her cup that appeared to be something like "mascara" not sure what it was exactly. we sat there for over 30 minutes waiting on somebody to come back to take our orders and so we could tell them about the cup as well. There was a black headed waitress who walked past us several times taking food to the table next to us but never stopped to get our order. She would look over and smile but that's about all we got. There was only two other people in the restaurant so the place wasn't busy at all so idk what the deal was to why the service was so poor. It was our first time going there and I wasn't impressed at all with the service.
