Dude's Kitchen — Restaurant in Weiser

Please read the update below this first review: 1st Review (3stars) Tried Dude’s Kitchen today. I give it 3 stars because of the Barista. The young lady behind the counter was a bit too relaxed and slow (and a bunch of people were gathering). She forgot my order and I ended up just getting 3 donuts instead of 4. The Mexican Mocha from Jack Henry’s is a lot better. The server made ours too spicy, it burns the back of our throats and tastes peppery. My husband only drank a quarter of his before throwing the rest out. I refused to throw a $5 coffee out, so I tried fixing mine with more almond milk and I added honey. But it is still not great. It’s a disappointing first visit. The Barista would benefit from practicing time management and getting measurements correct. The donuts were on point! We loved sharing those for a naughty breakfast.

Second Review: Amanda and Easton and the barista (JayC- sorry if I got your name wrong) went the extra mile. Something that surprised me was hearing that Amanda makes the Mexican coffee mix herself (kudos!!). Since the Mexican coffee mix was made in-house her last batch might have had a tad too much cayenne and the barista was apologetic about that. She mixed our replacement coffees and had me taste it to double check it was to our liking. Thank you for that JayC. The donuts were on point! My personal favorites are the dirty chai and raspberry flavor, so delicious and the dough so fluffy and soft. Just Yum! We didn’t expect to get anything free but we’re grateful for the instance to give us our donuts on the house. Thank you JayC, Easton, and Amanda. I've followed their Instagram page for a while and wanted to go to their establishment. Luckily I found myself in a Weiser for a family function and was able to partake of their delicious goodies. They gave me great instructions on how to warm up the Brioche bread. It was so flavorful. The butter melted beautifully into the bread with a slight sugary orange flavor. Chocolate croissant was heavenly with the buttery layers of flaky bread. I really enjoyed the monkey bread as well with the frosting adding a nice sweetness. I can't wait to go again. Scones were great. Coffee needs some work. Iced coffee tasted like water flavored coffee, at least I think there was a little coffee present. On the other hand, the latte was so strong and bitter that I could barely drink it and I love strong coffee.

Ended up mixing the bland coffee water with the too strong latte and ended up having a beverage that was drinkable.

Not really sure what was going on with the difficulty in getting strength of brews correct, but definitely needs some work.

Scones were nice and flavorful, so that was a plus...
