tsillian cellars may have won best washington wine cellar in 2020, but this very day in 2024, they won the key to my heart. "and this is no easy task!"...my cruel and hardhearted bride of 36 years would tell you, sipping her Chateau St Michelle in her odd and ironic mason jar. The first thing I noticed was the twisted sliver of lemon upon my pasta. It felt like a physical metaphor for both my twisted expectations of italian cuisine, and twisted love for red vines! Hahahahaha. The scallops in my linguine were shockingly good, easily the best scallops I've ever had. The same goes for their massive prawns, all of which were piping hot and yet tender. The takeaway of the evening was as the old adage follows: A dead piranha doesn't eat much. every undertone in every dish was accented to perfection, and the main thesis statements of every dish were subtle. This created a beautiful dynamic range in the elegance of our stay, at Tsillians. attached are a photo of aforementioned linguini, and a touching photo of Gary the snail from Nickelodeon SpongeBob SquarePants.

What you’re paying for with this spot is really the atmosphere and not so much for the quality of the food. Francisco was our server and recommended a couple of dishes which we ended up ordering. About 25-30 minutes later, I received my Cioppino. Big bowl of tomato soup with seafood protein. The food was fine, but nothing that will blow your doors off. Their fries are decent and the lamb is nice too. The waterboys/girls constantly kept us refilled. That was up until the very end once our plates were cleared out. From that point on it almost seemed like everyone forgot about us, even our server! No water refills, no one asking if we wanted desert, nothing… I assume they might have had an influx of people coming in and got distracted. Not a huge problem, but a little annoying. But after we paid we were free to roam around and hang out. Absolutely loved the koi pond and the scenic view. Great opportunity for pictures and watching the sunset. TL;DR: Overall, a nice experience that could be made great with a few tweaks.

These 3 stars are for food! Even 2, but the server provided an excellent service. Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wine: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Food: 🌟 We visited this winery and restaurant back to 2018, and have sweet memories. 5 years ago we got pasta + their wine, and everything was delicious. Today’s food was a different experience. Italian cuisine is famous by their ravioli, lasagna, bruschetta, caprese and ect.. There was not that much of these options in the menu, it feels more like American restaurant. Food was pretty salted, salad had a strong taste of vinegar. Sides for steak was salty too, oyster we were not able to finish because it tasted and looked like a frozen dish. And it is fine for the regular bar with American kitchen, but your place has a chic, calls for Italian food experience with (with a glass of local wine). Our server was very pleasant, so we enjoyed the atmosphere, and service. Please, put attention into the quality of your food. It should worth the $100 check.

EDIT: Adding another star after attending Easter Brunch. See below for brunch review.

We attended for lunch and were so disappointed. This use to be one of my favorite restaurants in the entire state. It's been many years since coming here so I was looking forward to it. Seared scallops was one of the best items on the menu but has been removed. Prices are high and portions are minimal. We both left hungry after a $50.00 lunch and we only drank water. $24.00 for their spaghetti and clams. After pulling all the shells out there was maybe 2 oz of pasta worth about 25 cents. Clams were tender. Overall flavor was mediocre. I wanted some grating cheese but our server never came back until we were finished eating. But considering the tiny portion, it didn't take long to eat. They don't even include bread unless you order it. I heard they have a new chef. My recommendation, rehire the old chef and bring back the old menu and portions. Cancelling our dinner reservations and going somewhere else. We also have Easter brunch reservations. Going to keep that and hope their brunch buffet is better.

Easter Brunch was phenomenal! Absolutely delicious food. Service was top notch and this was the experience I was use to at Sorrento's! I'm glad we finished our Chelan trip on a high note! We will now give them another shot at lunch or dinner in the future.

Complimentary bread would go a long way. To avoid waste, ask patrons if they would like it before bringing it...

Sorrento’s is one of the nicer restaurants in the Lake Chetan area. The restaurant is positioned in the middle of a vineyard. This is a winery and restaurant combo. The restaurant and bar area are amazing with great appointments and a million dollar view.

The staff is top notch. The ratio of servers to customers seemed to be good. There was only one table buser/setter running around like crazy and refilling water glasses. I hope they share tips with this person πŸ™‚

Overall the food was executed well. The fare was mostly Italian with familiar steak and seafood options. The sauce pairings were unusual and not to my tastes. The bread was amazing. The appetizers were very good, from the sauces. The main courses looked very good but the plating was so hot the food touching got overcooked.

We found the best Chardonnay, our tastes buttery oak, in the entire region. There are a lot of wineries in the area and each have Chardonnay but processed in many other ways.

Dessert was good but nothing special.

You need reservations even during off season. This place is not a secret. This is a local hangout based on the cross table talk and waves across the room. Dress is resort casual but this is an upscale white linen table cloth restaurant that demands a bit better dress than what was allowed. That said enjoy this dining experience.

We will most assuredly return to this restaurant and partake of the other...

First I'll start with the good. Amazing venue. Great scenes of the lake. Beautiful grounds, especially at sunset. Service was good bordering on great. Disliked the check being brought after 2 bites of our dessert but otherwise the service was flawless. And the wine...is exquisite.

Now for the food. We started with the mushroom cap appetizer and ordered the prawn risotto (specifically specified to come out as an app). The mushroom caps were decent although nothing amazing. The risotto however was completely overtaken with Lemon. Not a hint of lemon or "lemon notes" it was straight up "lemon risotto" and a bit disgusting. Although the juice from the mushroom caps helped mellow out the lemon when mixed together.

Next we ordered the pork chop. It came out black and dry. Overcooked and unedible. It was piled high with "garnish" as though the kitchen staff was trying to hide the charred, long dead pork chop. Even the center of the thick cut pork chop was dry.

The tiramisu was fantastic but after voicing our displeasure of the porkchop we were quickly given the check (literally 2 bites into our dessert) as though it was time for us to leave for the night.

We really enjoyed the wine and the winery tour earlier in the week, but just cannot stand behind the food here. Especially for a...
