I had a truly frustrating experience at Culver’s this evening. I ordered two mini concrete mixers through their app for curbside pickup, giving them 10 minutes to "make them fresh." I checked in on the app as instructed and pulled into one of their curbside pickup designated parking spaces. I waited in that space for 30 minutes with no communication from any staff member. During that time, I watched people come and go without anyone asking who I was picking up for. I had to flag an employee down, give them my name, and was told they'd check on my order. They never once apologized for the delay or inconvenience nor did they ever return with an update.
At that point, I drove through the drive-thru and had to wait an additional 3 minutes before anyone spoke to me. I explained the situation, and the employee initially told me I’d have to go inside to pick up my mobile order, which didn’t make sense since it was a curbside order. I told her again that it was a curbside order and she corrected her previous statement and said she'd go check on it. After waiting another few minutes, another employee came to the intercom to ask what I wanted to order—again, I explained the situation, and they finally told me my order was ready and I could pull up to the window.
When I finally received my concrete mixers, they were nothing like I expected. They were more like bowls of chocolate soup than the thick, concrete mixers they should’ve been. I couldn’t believe they thought this was acceptable after I’d waited so long.
The customer service was abysmal, and the quality of the product was far below expectations. I’ve had issues with Culver’s before, with incorrect sizes and toppings being mixed in, but this was beyond frustrating. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient place, I'd recommend trying Jeremiah’s across the street. They have much better customer service and actually get things right. Culver’s really needs to step...
Read moreCheck your nuts! Soooo Pulled into the drive-through after working out in the sun craving a delicious Culver’s cone. ..normally so cold and delicious over on my side of town Cary. Not so today. I was enticed by the “taste of the day” Turtle caramel so ordered a two scoop waffle cone with chocolate at the bottom and turtle on top. When I got it at the window it was NOT EVEN CLOSE to the nutty turtle ice cream in the picture. When I questioned whether or not my top scoop was actually turtle. The young lady in the drive-through window said “Have a nice day “ totally dismissive as she quickly close the window. After paying five dollars for a cone, I had to go inside to rectify the situation. I merely asked for the manager showed the manager the picture of the taste of the day turtle cone and showed her the plain gooey, dripping, vanilla scoop I got with a couple of specs of turtle pieces. Then I was asked would I like another cone I said if it doesn’t look like what your advertising just give me my money back. Needless to say the manager Kay did rectify the situation but after much ado. I won’t be returning to this location and if you are in the Wendell Falls area, save yourself The headache and pass this one by. SMH. I figured at 5 PM which is peak dinner rush no customers about 15 teenagers standing around inside they could at least get one of the main things people come to Culver’s for correct.
FYI: Restaurants near the Wendell Falls Culver's location that sell ice cream and other frozen treats include Goodberry's Frozen Custard, Dairy Queen, Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries, Cold Stone Creamery, and Jeremiah's Italian Ice.

Read moreMy wife and I visited this new location for the first time last night since it’s closer to our neighborhood than wake forest. I can safely say we will be driving to wake forest going forward . The food order was correct but only because we had to repeat what we had 3-6 times between the speaker box and when we got to the window . Even then we still had burgers leaking with grease which we’ve never had happen. This is definitely due to how much playing apparently was going on at said window. We heard the order-taker laughing as she kept asking us the same question . When we got to the window we saw the “slap-tag” game they were playing at the window . The young ladies were still asking what I ordered and we had to correct them a couple more times . I can bet that this was the reason why there were 8 cars waiting in the “pull-up” stalls - one of which was just waiting on a shake. After last nights experience , I can only assume that if the employees are seemingly high school age then the management must be ages 19-21 years old as there appears to be no management visible or no true adults training these kids . The overall build of this establishment is great but horrible service and a clear lack of efficiency will overshadow...
