Wingstop — Restaurant in Wendell

I would not recommend this specific wing stop due to poor customer service.

My fiancé placed a pickup order at 7:45pm on Christmas eve. The order confirmation said that the order would be ready at 8:12pm. We arrived at 8:20pm to pick up the food. The front door was locked i watched my fiance knock on door & wait about 5mins for someone to greet her. I saw a dark skinned lady with long dred locks come to the door & tell me Fiance that they didn't get our order because the store closed at 8pm.

My fiance had to pull out her phone to show this lady that I presume was the manager on duty the order confirmation because the manager continued to deny receiving the order. After showing the manager the order confirmation the manger went to retrieve the order which was next to several other completed orders waiting to be picked up.

My fiancee didn't receive any type of apology from the manager. The store hours on Google showed that the store would be open until 11pm. By the time we drove out of the parking lot the store lights were off appearing that the store was now closed around 8:30pm.

There were several other orders still pending pickup. I hope the customers who placed those orders were able to receive them, or at least get a refund.

Super unprofessional yall need to do something about the lady with the attitude. As you can see in most of your 1 star reviews she is a major issue for this store.

I'll happily drive further to a different wing stop to receive...

If my stomach could speak it would be able to detail the horrors that it went through last night trying to digest this food. My stomach acid had to fight tooth and nail for hours breaking down them wings. It got so bad to the point where my body’s immune system had to kick in and attack them wings along with my stomach. This battle went on for hours with every fart or burp almost resulting in a disaster! This fight was so serious my immune system weakened to the point that a common cold could have finish me off.

Don’t even get me started on my toilet. Out of everything it got it the worse. Have anyone ever seen their toilet become suicidal before? After that night I caught my toilet flushing down a whole bottle of antidepressants. It had all the hotlines you can think of on speed dial that’s how close it was to just ending it all. I really can’t believe those wings scared my toilet. Now I’m trying to get the toilet therapy so it can flush out its problems and perhaps gets some ptsd medicine to. If all else fails the I will haft to get a new toilet. Because I don’t know what imma do with a depressed toilet. It won’t let me flush anything down it anymore. I guess it’s reminded of those Wingstop wings and I totally understand why it feels that way. My immune system is still trying to recover from that galactic food poisoning the food gave me.

I ordered the 8 piece bone-in combo with cheese fries and a sweet tea. They didn’t have sweet tea so I settled for a lemonade. The cheese fries were delicious but I can’t say the same about the wings. When I opened the wing box it had some kind of liquid at the bottom(as you can see in the photo) I’m assuming it was the grease and butter from the pan, I am not exactly sure. The wings were seasoned well but to my surprise there was no flavor. The ranch also seems different and watered down. I ate 2 wings out of the 8. This meal was disappointing. I was so excited that a Wingstop was built near my home so I wouldn’t have to drive to New Bern Ave but it seems in order to get some quality food I may have to. Today was my second order from the Wendell location. I placed an order weeks ago and it was a disappointment as well. I decided to give this location another chance because they are new and when I placed my first order they were overwhelmed with customers. I was hoping this second order was going to be better. I hope changes will be made to improve the quality...
