My husband and I used Casa Tequila, West Bend, to cater our wedding in September. My mom had previously used Casa Tequila, Hartford, to cater a graduation party and raved about the service and quality. So we thought that was going to be the best decision and the least stressful part of our big day. Boy, were we wrong. They were scheduled to be at the venue (in Cedarburg) at 5:30pm to set up, by 5:45pm or so my day of coordinator approached me asking if I've seen anyone from the restaurant yet. Since I had not, she was immediately on the phone with the West Bend manager and was told that, "they just left". By 6:15-6:30pm, they had finally arrived, but still had to set up. My coordinator and my sister-in-law (my GUESTS), stepped in and helped them carry everything down to where dinner was being served. Now, the food was okay. It definitely was not hot and they seemed to be under prepared because the chips were gone by the 3rd table or so. Now they ask for payment. Being my big day, I had my coordinator handle all vendors day of. She gave them my credit card and instructed that someone contact me before making any charges. They did not abide. The next day, we headed back to the venue to clean up and then learn that they also took all the leftovers, that we had already paid for. I call to discuss the situation with the manager, tell her everything that happened, and she then tells me the van that was transporting our food had a flat tire. Based on what she told my coordinator on the day of, I am led to believe that this was untrue. I asked for a partial refund and she stated she would have to discuss that with the owner and she would be in touch. A week goes by, nothing. So I call to touch base, the manager nor the owner are not in. So I leave my name and number again and wait. Another week goes by, I call again. Still no one available for me to talk to. Left another message (because I know businesses are hurting. Understaffed and overworked, I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt). No response from this message. I'm now thinking my they are just dodging my phone calls. By week three, I decide to call the Hartford location and discuss the situation with them. The man I talked to there was wonderful. Kind, attentive, and said he texted both the manager at West Bend, and the owner. That afternoon the manager calls me back and states that, "things happen, you and your husband can come in for one dinner and drinks for free, your guests offered to help my staff set up, and there's nothing they can do for me". So after $1300 for poor, late service, luke warm food, leftovers that were stolen, unprepared amounts of food, my guests doing their work, lies, dodged phone calls, and nothing they can do for me, we will not be back nor recommending them for...

Casa Tequila in West Bend is an absolute local treasure. I don’t hand out praise lightly, but this place deserves every bit of it. From the second you walk in, you feel the difference . The owners and staff genuinely care about every customer, and their attention to detail is unmatched. They’re warm, welcoming, and take pride in making sure every visit feels special.
Let’s talk about the food. It’s on another level. No other Mexican restaurant in West Bend even comes close to the quality of their dishes or the consistency of their service. Trust me, I've been here for 15 years and have tried them all. Every single thing on their menu is amazing...we've tried plenty, and never once been disappointed. They also have fantastic weekly specials that keep you coming back, and it’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself saying, “We should try that next time,” because everything looks, and is so good.
Now, the All You Can Eat Friday fish fry. I’m a Wisconsinite, which means I’m picky as hell about my fish frys. I’ve had them all over Washington, Waukesha and Milwaukee counties, and Casa Tequila’s is hands-down the best!!!! Crispy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and to top it off, it’s all you can eat at a super reasonable price. That’s basically a Wisconsinite’s dream come true.
They also do catering, and I had the chance to experience it at a recent party I threw. Every single person there commented about how amazing the food was — and you know how rare that is at catered events. Usually, you get “good enough.” But Casa Tequila brought the exact same quality and flavor they serve in the restaurant, and it blew everyone away. A number of guests told me that Casa is their new "go to" Mexican restaurant in WB!
Casa Tequila isn’t just another restaurant. It’s the kind of place that makes you proud to have it in your city. A true local gem with incredible food, unmatched service, and an energy that makes you feel right at home. West Bend is lucky...

Ordered our meals and 10 minutes later they come back saying no al pastor. Waitress asks what should replace it but doesn't bring a menu. Gets menu and we say chiles rellenos instead.
5 minutes later, a manager comes over and says they're out of chiles rellenos and asks what should replace it. Doesn't bring a menu but suggests something similar and we accept.
10-15 minutes go by and we receive our food except one meal was missing the black beans as ordered. We are enjoying our meals and the food is good. Manager comes back to tell us they are out of black beans but offers refried beans. Ok then.
They take 50% off one of the four meals at our table. Manager tried handling the situation but clearly several service procedures could be improved upon. It's one thing to run out of certain items, that happens. It's another not to bring a menu (twice) when asking people what should replace an unavailable dish, taking away the Corona you incorrectly brought out and not taking off more than $7 from a $70 dinner to salvage...
