Being a veteran and being handicapped poses a lot of challenges especially getting In-N-Out of a vehicle to go inside of a restaurant. But when you go through the drive-thru observing the menu being clear invisible for everyone until you approach watching the menu still stuck on the previous order for over 5 minutes while a person on the intercom who is ESL keeps demanding you place an order after repeatedly informing them you're waiting for the menu to pop up and then demands you have to come inside. After going inside and not getting any answers to any questions and only being asked what your order was is bad enough, but to hear every other employee in the restaurant talk bad about me and the people I was with is beyond rude and unprofessional. Come to find out the lady at the counter who was being discourteous was the manager and failed to address any issues including employee conduct and behavior. I took it upon myself to mention to the other employees that they should not be talking about customers especially when they're standing in the restaurant, to which I was told if I had a problem with it but I could fill out a customer service and they did not care. After filing a complaint with the store I received a follow-up 5 days later from a general manager who insisted on justifying and rationalizing and then making it my fault and constantly telling me what I was doing wrong. I don't remember McDonald's being that way growing up and to be treated in such a manner as being both a veteran and being handicapped is appalling and for management not to address issues on site with employees is the direct reflection on upper management and ultimately the individual franchise owner. Congratulations McDonald's you turned my childhood Retreat playing in the playground in dreaming of the Hamburglar into a nightmare and you have lost my business because of such actions in lack of...
Read moreMy experience here as CONSISTENTLY been you wait up to 10-15 minutes to get whatever you ordered (even if you're the only car in the drive thru).
And when your order arrives it's either wrong or missing essentials - or both!
For example, today...
I simply ordered a lg. coffee with cream and sugar on the side.
After waiting for 10 minutes (even though only one car in front of me), they bring me a plain black coffee.
I asked again for cream and sugar on the side.
They hand me a handful.
I ask for a bag to put it in (because obviously I'm going to be opening the cream and pouring it into the coffee and need a bag for trash. Plus, they typically will put cream/sugar in a bag)
He tries to tell me they don't have a bag, and I said, yes you do a small paper bag. So he finally brings me one and puts the cream and sugar in it.
I then asked if there is a coffee stirrer in it to which there wasn't. He hands me a straw.
It was exhausting. All for a coffee.
I 100% blame the manager for this as this hasn't changed for years at this location. Better off going to the one in Deerfield, Mason.
EDIT: Oh wow, almost forgot. One of the creamers the kid gave me was curdled milk. I thought at first it was still frozen or something, but not at all; it was curdled. Attached is a screenshot of a video I took of me pouring the chunks out.
Again, ALL...
Read moreWe are unfortunate enough that this McDonald's location is nearest to our home. So it has been the location we've been to most until now. I refuse to spend any more money at McDonald's, at least this one. We have had so many issues that you just don't ever run into at other locations. Crazy long wait times in the drive thru, extremely rude workers with nasty attitudes, missing food or the wrong food given more times than I can count and today was the straw that broke the camel's back. My husband just got home from picking up happy meals for the kids. When they opened up their meals, we were stunned to see that the outside of the chicken nuggets were soggy. I mean, actually wet. And the inside was FROZEN! Honest to God. I had to throw them in the air fryer which isn't any huge task but the whole point of paying for fast food is the convenience of not having to cook and saving time. Which clearly was not accomplished by paying for food at this sorry excuse for a restaurant. Never again. I don't know if corporate or anyone higher up in the company even reads these things, but you guys have a problem on your hands with the Pisgah location McDonald's. And I'm not the only person around here...
