Soy peruano and this is the worst opening I have ever been. We were a group of 4 and we order anticuchos, grill octopus, causa, hangover, classic ceviche, 2 ceviches carretilleros and 4 drinks.
For a single ceviche took 45 minutes to arrive, it was way too acidic, to the point it was uncomfortable to eat. The anticucho arrived cold, and all the other dishes never arrived. It took the server 2 hours to come to our table just to tell us the other dishes were canceled because the chef was too busy and the kitchen was backed up.
Customer service is non existent, all the servers were zombies, walking around just picking up empty glasses. Our waiter didnât even know how to read or use the tablet she was using to take the orders. She couldnât even confirm if we got our dishes or not.
We saw people on multiple tables just getting tired of waiting, arguing with the waiters and just leave. We decided to stay and give it a chance because we pay in advanced ($50 per person) but not even waiting was worth it. Pre-paying for this âexperienceâ was a scam. Chef Walter, I EXPECT MY REFUND!!!
Even the street taquero right outside the restaurant was serving food faster, tastier and cheaper than this.
This is unfortunately since I ate on the older restaurant in Culver City and the difference was night and day. Way better experience than this ânewâ place.
