Vinni's Pizza West Deptford — Restaurant in West Deptford Township

I use to drive from Gibbstown to West Deptford for this place. They had specials on pizza and I thought cheesesteaks. But never again will I go here again. I went for the price n food was decent. But i tried to order the special 3 cheesesteaks for $31. But i needed 4. Thinking they were $10 a piece. I assumed plus any extras. Like fried oinions or pizza sauce. Etc. But no he said you dont get the special price unless its plain. A pizza steak is $13.99 plus any extras. Same with the cheesesteaks sub. The bill was $73. Or $18 a piece. As my daughter placed the order i asked. How dies a $10 cheesesteak turn into a $18 one just for oinions pizza sauce n mushrooms? That costs $8 more? I wanted him to realize $8 up charge was excessive. But anger and ignorance was what i got back from the owner. Owner became very angry, he became insulting and said i offered u a bottle of soda. Which i didn't want or need we had drinks at home. So I went to Roman Pantry $ 13.99 10 inch loaded pizza steak fried onions n mushrooms. Its a shame i once liked this place. Recommended many people here. Even posted on the Gibbstown forum. I guess ill have to tell everyone. And remove my endorsement. The owner doesnt want our business. Because in all his anger n ignorance he said. Dont call here anymore then. I said my pleasure. Clearly a man too immature and childish to handle confrontation or being questioned from a customer. You can go out to a dinner for $19. Get a cheesesteak ,fries, soda and someone brings it to you for about $14.99. I think maybe the pizzeria may be a thing of the past. For sandwiches.

Update: Owner claims i was the rude one??? I asked a question. Politely. He got rude. In his reply he says i can return? Never! I spent 38 years in a customer service job. Won awards many many times. I know customer service and how to treat people. He based on other reviews ive read does not. Wish him well. And hopes he learns some humanity. Either way never setting foot...

I've ordered from this place for years and spend a lot of money here. Don't believe the prices on their menu on the website. I just placed an order that should have accrued to $40 based on what they have posted on the internet. The total came back $69. A $29 differential from what is advertised online! When I call back to question them about it, the young employee on the phone.... who could barely take the order to begin with, told me "those are the old prices! I asked if he was going to honor those prices because that's what he has posted online and he kind of laughed! Totally illegal. But guess what I called her for $100 orders regularly, and they just let about $500 a month walk out the door over $29. I guess that's what happens when you have an uninformed inexperienced driver answering the phone! He didn't even know that they had a three Cheesesteak deal. I had to...

Great little "hole in the wall" type of pizza place. I was looking for a different pizza place than my usual spots, a quick Google search brought up Vinni's as a suggestion, after looking at their menu online I decided to take the ride and try them out. I decided to keep it simple and go with the pizza, I saw a couple of pies out and one that I thought to be sausage was buffalo chicken. But, they offered to put sausage on the plain slices for me, so I ordered 2 plain and 2 sausage slices to eat in. The pizza as well as the service I received was an A++! I'll definitely be returning to try a cheesesteak, cheeseburger or more pizza just because of the service...
