Friend of mine used to come here regularly about a year ago. Always liked the atmosphere and vibes. Food was always great. Last night was not it. My husband and I came in for our anniversary dinner. Couple things, my husband is not an alcohol drinker, nor does he drink soda. He asked for orange juice. 6'4, buck 250lbs man and they charged and brought us a whiskey glass of orange juice. At least a warning that he was not going to get his fill with that small glass then be told we would be charged for refills? Okay. I mean sure, but again a warning that it would be a small glass. He's clearly NOT the size of a toddler... the waitress even said as he responded with "I'll just take some water" with "do you wanna lick the glass too?" Im sure she was joking, but who tf says that?

Secondly he was going to get their biggest steak, waitress recommends their "special" with a baked potato and he was excited. Only to have the food he gets at the table look like a small NY strip steak... seemed like a wasted opportunity (he's a big guy, he could've eaten 4 of those). The special included a salad and baked potato. Salad was less than satisfying as our 'dressing' was brought to us in plastic to go cups (tf?). The baked potato? What a joke. Like, 'here is your potato which you have to unwrap, cut, season and butter all by yourself'. Kind of takes the experience away from someone else catering your food (ya know, like a restaurant). So yeah, his meal alone? Happy anniversary, couldn't wait to go home and cook him more food on a special day cause he was served basically the same thing our 10yr son would eat.

As for MY meal? Oh don't mind me. The sausage was so undercooked I couldn't finish eating it AND I've been up since 4am sick to my stomach (I ate nothing else to cause that; reason I have time to write a review because I can't work while wrapped around a toilet for several hrs).

Honestly left there extremely disappointed and kind of pissed off that we spent 50 bucks on a bs meal. 10 tip to a waitress because we felt like maybe she was overwhelmed and by herself?

Neither of us plan on returning to the establishment. Would prefer to ask for just our damn money back, but doubt we will get that. Per other reviews it looks like they just expect you to come in and give them another shot which we won't be driving another 45mins to HOPE it's better...

My husband and I used to love this place and have been there quite a few times. Today my husband, my kids and myself went for lunch for Fathers a day. They were pretty busy but we got a table right away. The bar tender came over and took our drink and appetizer order. About 5 min later she brought our drinks and took our lunch orders. I’d say about 25 min later we finally got our cheese curds dropped off by a different server. We sat there waiting for almost 50 minutes for our food while we watched people who came in after us get their food before us. Not once during that whole time did anyone check on us or refill our drinks, my husband wanted marinara for the cheese curds but no one came over so he didn’t get it. We were pretty upset and my husband went and asked to speak to a manager, the girl at the register said he was busy cooking so he told her what was going on and her jaw dropped. She couldn’t believe we were treated like that. The bar tender who waited on us had been sitting rolling silverware and saw my husband talking to the girl at the register so she went over there. She started giving my husband a bad attitude talking about it being busy and having 4 tables and the bar to watch (even though she had plenty of time to sit and roll silverware while chatting to another server. She ended up say she would just pay for our meal. Came over to the table were my children and I were sitting and aggressively threw candy onto the table while saying something under her breath. That was probably the worst service I had ever had. We really like the food here but after being treated like that we will not...

Lunch on a Monday at 12:30. A few other tables occupied. Spot is sort of around back in a strip mall near a Hy Vee. Parking close by. It says accessible but my friend had a really hard time getting in and out in her wheelchair.

Simple set up with bar, seating, TVs, free popcorn. 3 or 4 slot machines to play.

Nice menu options, we had a hard time deciding. Friend ended up having pizza/salad special. I had a patty melt with waffle fries.

My burger and fries were good. Her pizza LOOKED good but didn't taste good. The salad was good and the house dressing was great.

IDK what was happening with the service. We were ignored for 15-20 minutes. Then after being brought menus waited another 15 to order. Food out quick. Then wait, wait, wait for a to go fix for me and check. It was weird. There were not many people eating and 2 servers. Ours just disappeared into the kitchen for long periods of time. Maybe helping cook, too?

The free popcorn was a nice touch. $40 for our meals and pop and a bloody mary. My friend said she would try again, I don't...

My girlfriends and I decided to celebrate our birthdays and the Chiefs game at Grand Junction. We arrived a little after 4:00pm. The place was starting to get full when we walked through the door. We were able to get a high top in the corner right away. I’m from KC and I had a perfect view of one of the many TVs in the bar. First off we ordered drinks. My Captain & coke was smooth and my friends’ drinks were great too. We ordered Pizza and Buffalo wings. I have had a lot of pizza in my day and I didn’t think anything could compare to Pepe’s pizza in Connecticut, but man this was right on par! Seriously, the Canadian Bacon was so tasty. Our server was great. Even though she had a lot of tables she came over often to make sure we were doing okay. We decided to leave after the Chiefs game and noticed there was a line to get in. Good timing. I would highly recommend Grand Junction Bar & Grill. Next time I’m in town I will, for sure, be stopping by!

Hard place to find, you are going to have to want to go there. Ordered the Bisuits and Gravy, which were very good, it came with breakfast potatoes. Everything was nice and hot. Will be back for more! 8.1.2023 - Back for More! Ordered the Pretzel and Beer Cheese appetizer; it was good. I had the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Steak Fries. My wife had the Crispy Wings and our friend had the Chicken Cheese Quesadilla. The Cheesesteak was good, it was a little dry but very tasty. My friend liked the Quesadilla and my wife's Chicken Wings were fantastic. Will be back.
