Jake's Cafe — Restaurant in West Fork

2nd and 3rd time was much better than my 1st. The 1st time I visited Jakes the elderly woman waiting on tables and register seemed to ignore my son and I. We waited 15 or more minutes while she waited on several people who came in after us whom seemed to be regulars. She even waited on them before waiting on the people ahead of us. Needless to say we up and left. With that said I decided a couple of days ago 2 give it another try. I'm very glad I did because the experience was much better. The young girl who waited on me was very fast and courteous and the food was excellent. So I had to try it again the next day. And was very pleased again. I will definitely eat...

Nice little cafe. Clean. Great customer service. Loved the Fried Rice dish except could add some more vegetables. Tea tasted watered down. I ordered sweet tea but it wasn't sweet at all. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and it was mostly a thick shell of batter around the small piece of steak that didn't have much of a taste. The dining room was to cold 🥶. But other than that, the prices were good for what we got.

I am a waitress so I understand how stressful mornings can be. Although the food was good the service was sub-par. I ordered a omelet, and the waitress forgot to ask me if I would like sour cream or salsa. So I politely asked if I could have some.
