Okay. I've been to this bar 3 times. Nothing has changed. I won't come back. My first time, I wanted to sit in the dining room as the bar was pretty full. There's a sign that says "wait to be seated." So, we waited patiently. Host was at the edge of the bar drinking instead of welcoming guests. If you're off duty, take off your Ted's Shirt. Needless to say, we never got say in the dining room and had to wait for someone to leave the bar. Upon sitting, tons of beer glass rings. When I mentioned aomething to the bartender and asked police if we could have a clean place to sit, she looked at us as if we were a waste of space. We ended up using the drink napkins to clean it, and gosh for bid someome was avaliable to give us napkins after the food came out besides the single napking that comes with the silverware. The food was great, rise and shine burger made up for that specific visit. If I could tip the chef, I would. The server certainly didn't deserve it. Second vist. Was a bit better, service was faster and there was a gentleman bartending. The only complaint there was it took a while to get the hint we were ready to leave. I understand we aren't the only guests in there, but if I'm tapping my card and waiving payment in front of you, you're only vosting yourself tips because you could have new guests in if we could leave. More guests equals more tips. We were trying to do him a favor by leaving, but he didn't seem to care. This visit today, two women were definitely rude. We sat down on an empty bar, and again like our first visit was greeted with tons of beer rings all the way throughout. Didn't matter what spot we sat in, it was a mess. Was definitely not a pleasant experience. We wanted to order food, and it was like pulling teeth to get a menu. When ordering soda, we found out it's Pepsi. I guess this bar doesn't serve Rum and COKE!!! So, bad drinks, bad service, decent kitchen. The cooks should boycott the employer and open their own restaurant because I'd certainly support their business versus these snobby waitresses. If you don't like you job, quit. Many of them probably do, because I don't think I've ever seen the same bartender more than once and they all suck. Never coming again. I moved to New Jersey, and I have my spots when I come home to visit family, this won't be one of them. Go to JB Lovedrafts downtown Harrisburg, Nocturnal in downtown Harrisburg. There's plenty of other places. The vibes are upbeat. Bartenders manage a full bar in addition to counter walk ups, and they do it with smiles. This place called Ted's can't serve an empty bar. Absolutely pathetic. Keep up the good kitchen work, other than that, don't come here.

We were in town for 2 nights and went to Ted’s both nights. It’s a bar with a small dining area separate from the exuberance of the bar area. The first night it was fairly chill, the second much more crowded for bingo night. Our first night there Olivia was our server. Highly recommend asking for her. Our second night, again it was busy, but the server seemed overwhelmed and just kind of didn’t handle that too well. Forgot straws, didn’t check to see if we needed drink refills, etc. First night were super hungry from traveling so we over ordered. The food was very good. I was looking forward to trying their pierogis. They were OK. Filling and tasty but not homemade. Same type you get frozen. Not saying that’s bad or unexpected for a bar, but since the other food was so well made, it just made it more obvious. My child loved them nonetheless. In addition we had the steak sandwich with tots, onion rings, twice baked potato, French fries, garlic shrimp (amazing!), schnitzel poutine fries and Cuban sandwich. All of it was very tasty. The shrimp would have been great over pasta as well and the schnitzel was very tender. Would have loved a sandwich option for that. 2nd night it was pierogis again for my daughter, the dip trio, wings, chicken Marsala, and a Rachel sandwich. The chips they serve with the sandwich’s are so good! We asked what kind they were the 2nd night but the server said she had no idea. Forgot to ask someone else before we left. The dip trio was good, with all of the dips being tasty, but the buffalo chicken stood out for me and I’d get that again on its own. The wings were super good. I got mild in case my daughter wanted to have a few and they had a great flavor and mini heat. Also tried the garlic parm and again they were very good. The Marsala was OK. I wouldn’t get it again but that’s OK. I wanted to try it and it was definitely tasty just not the type of Marsala I’m used to. But the chicken was tender with plenty of garlic and mushrooms though, both of which I enjoy. My daughter won 2 stuffed animals out of the claw machine so she couldn’t have been happier. We would def visit again.

I was there last night and I needed to wait several hours to be able to write a worthy review. We had a party of ten that we made reservations for which they were good about. Then it goes down from there. We sat for what felt like 20 minutes to get a server but was probably like 5-8 when my cousin got up and asked the hostess who sat us if we were getting a server. They hostess was like who are you and where are you sitting. Same person who sat the table mind you. Then we got a waitress with a really great attitude who took our drink order and before she brought the drinks back she comes and tells us someone else is now going to take our table. Like really.... So this new waitress brings the drinks out asking who got What? Poor... So she then takes our food order and stuff slowly comes out. I got one of my apps as an app but the other came with my meal. Didn't ask for that that way. Our meals came and two of us ordered Pittsburg salads and if you know anything about them they typically come with fries on them. Not these. But yes they were supposed to according to the menu. So we asked to be charged for a tossed salad or house salad since they were not correct and the waitress asked if we still want the fries so they don't have to dock the meal. Sorry already done. All this and the food was just okay. I had wings and they were good. My shrimp were okay and my western burger was just ehhh.. I'm not sure why this place is always packed. The general consciences was no need to visit anytime soon by all 10 of us. I'm actually 2 because you know I struggle to give a 5 because it needs to all but perfect to get that from me. So this was not close other than setting us in a...
