Bella Villa Pizza — Restaurant in West Haven

Please read before deciding to dine here!! I decided to take my family out for pizza after a fun night of roller skating. We arrived around 9:30pm. From the moment we walked in the service was terrible. I saw the chairs were on top of the tables so I asked what time do they close and could we still dine in. The answer was 11pm and yes. You would think 1 of the 3 guys that were standing behind the register would come take the chairs off the tables but they didn't. I proceed to take the chairs down and 2 of the chairs are broken. I then order almost $60 worth of food (3 teenage boys and a young lady plus my lady and myself). I ordered pizza, wings, curly fries, mozzarella sticks and fried calamari, sprite and snapple! The customer service here is absolutely horrible! I asked for celery for the wings he rudely says we don't have that so I'm like ok can I please have some blue cheese dip, this man never once looked up to acknowledge I was speaking to him. He grabs the dip and puts it on the counter with an attitude. Smh. At this point I'm getting frustrated because how rude is that! I just told the children to hurry so we could get out of here. On top of that food was mediocre. I WILL NEVER EVER SPEND MY MONEY HERE AGAIN, just...

I’ve ordered from this restaurant a total of four times and each and every time I’ve had minor bad experiences. This is my final time ordering from a restaurant that repeats your order back to you then deliver the complete opposite. I asked for American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise but that’s not what I got. I had to add the mayo and veggies myself and I hate the texture of mozzarella cheese so I could only eat half the sandwich . This time, I was in a rush and it was close that’s why I decided to try them one last time but it was definitely trash as always and the driver forgot my drink. Sadly, I gladly did not leave a tip. I’ve left 5$ and 10$ tips every time I ordered in the past since I don’t order much but they screw up on something so simple every time which makes me regret it and now I definitely did not regret it....

It’s unfortunate I’m writing this bad review rite now. Bella villa used to have really good food. They had one of the best grilled Cajun chicken salads and the food was always very fresh. Well I know they are under new management and the food I got tonight was terrible. I got a steak and cheese sub they didn’t even cut it in half and it was very poor ingredients tbh. The grilled Cajun chicken salad the chicken was old and hard almost rubber like!! Even the slice of pizza I had was decent but it was way better with the other owner. Also you used to get garlic knots with your salad not anymore. And this was my second try having them with new owners. The first time was many months back but I remember the salad being very mediocre that time as well. You lost a customer...
