Disappointing Experience Not Returning Again
I visited this restaurant at 9:40 PM, and shockingly, our food wasn’t served until 11:40 PM. You might assume we ordered something elaborate, but we only got basic items: Chicken Fried Rice, Veg Hakka Noodles, and Chicken Lollipops all relatively quick dishes. Not once were we informed about any delay while placing the order.
To make things worse, the environment was just as frustrating. There was a dustbin left right beside our table, which stayed there for over 40 minutes until a waitress finally noticed and removed it only after we pointed it out.
Now, coming to the food: • The Chicken Lollipops were tough, rubbery, and completely inedible. We brought this to the cashier’s attention, but all we got was a dismissive “okay” and no follow-up or sorry. We even insisted to check the food herself. • The Mild Veg Hakka Noodles were bland and lacked even basic seasoning like salt. When we requested a reheat with a little salt, they returned it completely burnt and overloaded with chili powder. It was worse than before. • The Chicken Fried Rice was just about passable, but the chicken pieces were dry and incredibly chewy.
This place used to be my regular lunch spot, but after last night’s experience, I won’t be coming back. The quality has dropped significantly, and the service was nowhere near acceptable.

Ordered: • Special Biryani • Lamb Ghee Roast Large Biryani (menu name is slightly different) • Pepper Chicken Fry • Rasmalai
Special Biryani: It was more like a dry pulao rather than biryani, and honestly, the worst biryani I’ve had in the United States.
Lamb Ghee Roast Large Biryani: Similar to the Special Biryani, it was disappointing and tasted as if the rice was from the previous day.
Pepper Chicken Fry: The menu was confusing—they seem unclear about the difference between appetizers and entrées. While it tasted okay, it was more of a gravy than an actual fry. The flavor wasn’t anything special, and it’s something anyone could easily make at home.
Rasmalai: This was the biggest letdown. They simply served store-bought Rasmalai, likely picked up from a nearby Indian grocery store.

Read moreI had very bad experience with the food at this place. Starting with Spice Venue Special Biryani - It tasted like nothing No Salt, No spice it's just some rice with chicken piece's which are too dry. Next Their Chicken Lollipop - There is some weird smell which I experienced and when we complained to the staff they said it's some sauce smell which they are using but it isn't, it simply a rotten chicken kinda smell I experienced. and the last thing - I've ordered in uber eats which is Mango Lassi instead they sent me Gulab Jamun by stating that they don't have mango lassi available, if they don't have it they should have mentioned the same in the app itself as unavailable or something, then customers won't really order even though it's free they shouldn't have done like that. The whole point of me and my friends ordering the food is For lassi but instead of lassi they gave something else.
