Food was average but the customer service was horrible. 1 way glass on their drive up to where you can't see and over a 15 minute wait for 1 combo meal. Don't plan on going back.

Updating to respond to owner reply: Firstly, I did not order fish, nor was there another car in line or any backing up of any kind with my vehicle. I got 1 order of Popcorn Chicken and I received my food after waiting 15 minutes as the sole customer at your location (drive up or walk in). The poor customer service is based on being rushed through my order when placing it, having to wait with no indication there would be that long of a wait and then when being given my meal, having it thrown into my hands and the drive up window shut in my face with no exchange of any words. It's hard to admit anything bad about a fish fry spot located in the heart of New Haven but CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! I made two separate purchases to test a theory, fish fry and rice was $12.99 after CT Food tax, $13.98 + their RANDOM $0.55 ADMIN FEE. When I ask the store owner about it, the manager said "it's based on what gas stations charge for credit card transaction." 💳 I'm gonna be honest it's a built in tip and you cannot tell me otherwise. I know how Square Space works, I helped run a business and they're charging $0.55/transaction, 50 people a week, 4 weeks in a month, times 12 months, you're looking at thousands of dollars 💸 from New Haven tax paying citizens. I promised the manager I wouldn't say why. All I'll say is that they're super friendly but I had a bad experience. Manager was polite to offer me an entire meal but I refused as I will never step foot here again to eat anything. And had he reimbursed or offered to reimbursed my money back being that I tossed my food out I never would have said a word of this incident.
