PUB 34 — Restaurant in West Haven

The service was great. The food was awful. I saw a couple of pictures of the food before going and that's not what we experienced. The food came out in plastic trays, like you get at fast food places. The pretzel was dry and also came undercooked - they did reheat it and sent it back to our table eve though we said we didnt want it, which was kind of passive aggressive to be honest. The fish and chips were definitely frozen and breaded and was basically large fish sticks. I ordered the steak and cheese and I had thought they accidently sent me a burger, because it was just chopped up frozen hamburger patty. The fries were okay to eat, but definitely very similar to McDonalds. All of the meat was low quality and it wasn't prepared well overall. We didn't finish our food. The bill ended up being about 65$ with tip for 1 cocktail, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer and the quality of food is lower...

Went for birthday drinks. The Charcuterie board was 18.99 and WELL worth it! Piled high with fruits, 4 cheeses, 3 kinds of meats and crackers. 4 people shared. Waitress was super friendly. I absolutely love Pub 34. It is my spot now. I went for my bday on March 19th, 2025. It was karaoke night. Magnificent night. I am looking forward to next Wednesday. Thank you, Ms. Dottie !!!!
