Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in West Hazleton

I went to your West Hazleton, PA location on 6/11/22 at approximately 6pm. We were a party of 4. 2 of us got the shrimp and parmesan sirloin with broccoli and mashed potatoes, one of us got ribs, the other got a bourbon street steak. The broccoli was completely flavorless and everything else tasted like it was cooked in a pound of butter. After 3 bites of the ribs our friend had to stop eating before she got physically sick. After a few minutes, the rest of us felt intense stomach pains. Additionally, on the table there was a cardboard advertisement that said if your server doesn't ask if you want a gift card upon delivery of check you get a coupon for a free appetizer. Our server was Annemarie and I asked her about it and she said that it was "only valid memorial day weekend and those should have been taken off the tables". However it said valid through 6/26 and before I could bring that up she just walked away. I spent $75 on what i believe is the worst dining experience I have ever had. I do not believe I will be going back to any Applebee's after that and would appreciate a refund as a gift card...

The food and the service was good! But they took my reservation and never put it in the book! Then the manager looked me right in a face and said we don't take reservations reservations!! I told him I make a reservation every time I come because I have 6 to 8 people every time ! Then he told me we don't take reservations! We can write you down but we don't know when you will get to sit down! Then as they're putting it in the book! The young man comes to me and says we figured out who took your reservation! I'll have a seat ready for you in a few minutes! The host and the waitress apologized several times for the Mix up! The whole time we were there I saw the manager going around the tables asking how everything was! But he never came to our table once. and though his staff apologized! He never did he never did! When I asked him to come to the table next! And said your staff apologized for the mix up ! But you never did! Why is that?? He said I could take some money off your bill! I said my food and service was wonderful I don't want money off my bill! But I would like an apology!! Then...

I was burned at the Hazleton Applebee's, required surgery on my throat and still more to go. My life has been altered forever. Applebee's insurance company Sedgwick are scam artists and won't even pay for the damage caused to my throat by serving me melted liquid plastic mixed with my food or teeth that were damaged in the process. I want to make everyone aware I'm ready to expose this restaurant, their insurance company Sedgwick, manager, employees and the Rose Group. We have all the photos and a full recording of the the incident and afterwards. I went to lunch with my family and don't deserve to suffer for the rest of my life for their error. I do not recommend eating at the Hazleton Applebee's and will be posting all the photos and video if they do not contact me. You already admitted guilt now you will pay for my medical bills and the pain you have put family and I through. I assure you of that.
