I do DoorDash/Uber on the side and this is a popular location near my home due to it being 24 hours. As I went through the drive thru, I gave them the order number and name. The usual staff there generally remains quiet but I still try to be cheery as I go through because it’s a frequent stop of mine. As I went to the pick up area, there was no one there. I tried to ask if they wanted me to move up, but no one came to the window. When someone did, this girl with red hair, and an eyebrow piercing if I remember correctly, practically threw the bag at me. Now before she did I had asked her if it was my customers name’s order. She said yes before throwing it out and walking away without seeing me verify it. I grabbed it and went to take a picture of the order as they were very busy and I didn’t want to hold up the line. She had in fact given me the wrong order, and I went back through the drive-thru to let them know and when I spoke with the guy usually at the window, he apologized and I again, offered to give it back to them. I went up to the window and we talked, I gave them the different items needed to be made for my customer and they began to make that order. I offered the guy taking orders to take the food back, he again said to keep it. I asked if he was sure and he said yes, since they can’t serve that anymore. I thanked him and moved through the line to the pick up window. The same girl practically throws this much heavier bag through my window. I set it down and she then demand very, very rudely, “I need you to give me that back. It’s not yours.” I said okay and as I handed it back explained that they had told me to keep it, but I was actively handing it back to her. She then scoffed and became real aggressive as she glared at me, “That’s now how that works!” I was shocked because I’ve never had an interaction with her before and I’ve never been spoken to like that. It’s not like I was stealing the order, she had made a mistake rushing and unfortunately had to fix it. I did everything one is expected to do. I kept my voice very cheery and polite, but I was uncomfortable with the way she was speaking and acting towards me. I told her, “Ma’am, I’m not sure why you’re so angry with me. I have been very polite to you and you’ve not been very kind towards me. I’m not sure why you’re speaking to me like this.” She got real pissed then. Apparently, “Oh, speak to you like what?! Nobody else has a problem with how I talk to them!” She was so agressive and angry that she genuinely was looking to fight me. I sighed and shook my head at her, giving her, “Sure.” Before leaving the line. This is not in any way how someone should conduct themselves. I reported this incident and requested the merchant be contacted. As well I have now filed a corporate complaint about the interaction. I get that it’s not the easiest job, but in no way is it appropriate to act like that towards another person just doing their job. This girl needs to be fired or moved away from the window. She has a lot of misplaced anger that is not made for this kind of work. I attempted to call the place again to speak with the shift lead as well to get the location owners email, multiple times without a single answer. If I have to take another order there, I will be requesting she not be handing me the order and that this be formally documented with...
Read moreWorst experience ever! There was an older lady with long Grey hair who was totally unprofessional, rude, and I've never felt so offended by someone for no reason as she made feel tonight when I went to pick up my order. She needs to be fired. I had a minor simple fix issue that no matter how nice I was she refused to even listen to what it was i was trying to tell her to the degree where she would open the windows talk so loud so fast and not hear one thing I attempted to explain. If I went to speak she would slam the window and lock it. I waited there almost 10 minutes with huge line of cars getting way backed up behind me. Not one employee came to the window or was even willing to hear me explain what the problem was. So I was over charged and never got my entire order. They didnt give me the drink that comes with the 5$ meal as well as the hot and spicy both on the recipe and paid for extra beside the 5 dollar meal. I wasn't mad I wasn't rude. I can completely understand accidents happen and simple communication and kindness would of been so easy and no problems would have had to occur. This was not only shocking but I will never go back because not only did she treat me so poorly and rude and acted like a child she did all this in front of my little boy which is the only reason I chose to leave instead of cause bigger issues due to this lady throwing a child fit over what? I can guarantee if she is asked she won't even know how to answer because there was no reason for her over the top very...
Read moreJust a few minutes ago, I went to the McDonalds at the corner of 9000 South and 4000 West. A young man took my order and was extremely polite and respectful. I have zero complaints with him and found him the standard for which the 2 ladies failed to meet. Miserably.
My order was taken quickly. The change and receipt was given to me quickly. The problem began when I pulled forward to get my meal. Instead of receiving the same service, I had to sit and wait while these two girls talked "swimsuits" from "Walmart", while sharing images on a pink cell phone! (Please see attached images. Though taken through the tinted window of the pull-up window for getting orders, you can see them looking at their cell phone.) They could care less that I was sitting waiting, or that 4 large men were waiting inside to place an order.
While still discussing the images on the phone, the young man who took my order told the Mexican/Polynesian girl he had to leave. The Caucasian girl with short, pixie cut blue-blonde hair finally brought me my drink, which she had been holding the entire time... And it was the wrong drink. Worse, neither of the ladies had even started on my order, beyond the wrong drink.
I have not been to McDonalds in a long time, nor will I come back based on...
