I live in between 2 Wendy's, and usually use this one because it has traditionally had better service, however it has been going down hill recently. They are constantly grossly understaffed. Today was no exception.
Today I went through the drive through to order my 4 for 4. I get to the ordering location and have to wait about 30 seconds and finally hear "you can go ahead and order" in a pretty nasty tone... I order my double stack 4 for 4, with a plain burger. Everything shows correctly on the screen. The line took forever. While waiting I noticed 2 employees leaving and one of them had already had a lit cigarette and was smoking before he was out of the store! When I finally got to the window a middle aged woman (the same one that took my order) was running the drive through window, she looked pretty annoyed. She never shut the window so I heard every word she said, every order she took was in the same (well are you gonna order or not) tone that I recieved. Judging by her age and how she was ordering everyone around im assuming she was a manager/supervisor. I paid with cash which seemed to make her even more annoyed, she yelled at another employee to bring her more quarters. Since I paid with cash I never recieved nor was asked if I wanted a receipt. I got my food, and checked and my burger was NOT plain. As I didn't have a receipt I didn't want to go in and deal with that lady again, so I swung by the competition down the street amd got a burger, it took less than 30 seconds from the time I ordered and was made correctly. I then headed home and it took me 4 minutes from the time I left Wendys to get there. Most fast food places fill the cup between 2/3 and 3/4 full of ice. This was filled to the lid with ice. My fries and chicken nuggets were as cold as my drink, and my chicken nuggets had next to no breading on them. I will be thinking twice about eating here again and will definitely leave...
Read moreHorrible customer service. The worst customer service we've ever experienced. When ordering the guy kept asking "Is that all?" and sounding very impatient. When we were finished telling him our order he did not repeat the order back to us, and it wasn't posted on the drive thru screen. When we pulled up to the window the total was not confirmed nor were we greeted. They handed the bags out the window before taking payment. Handed all the bags to us at once causing one bag to be dropped. Then the woman at the window sighed loudly, irritated and didn't even say anything to us about getting the new food. She just yelled at the cooks to make up another cheeseburger. When we were given back our credit card they did not offer a receipt or later we found no receipt in any of our bags. The bag that dropped should not have had the receipt because it was a kids meal. So purposely was not given a receipt. Then once we were given all our food and drinks, not one employee thanked us for coming or any form of acknowledgement. I have personally worked in customer service for 10+ years. Never in a million years would that kind of attitude or service be tolerated by management. Extremely disappointing. We would not recommend this location and other Wendy's location to people we know. Completely...
Read moreFIRST! I ordered a large coke but when they gave us our drinks there wasn't a large. When I asked them about it, they said they were out of large cups. I said "Well you still charged me for a large knowing that?" Had I not said anything, they were ok charging me something they didn't even offer.
Then I got home in West Jordan ready to eat, guess what? We were shorted our meal...AFTER I reminded them of a specific item at the window. (Baconator Fries)..."No, it's all in there'!" They brushed us off because there was a line and when I asked for the receipt they said they didn't have one because they ran out of ink. They said they were having a bad day... well they just ruined mine because we didn't have enough when I got home and I sure as hell wasn't about to go back out in the cold and drive all the way back to South Jordan for a measly baconator fries! Top it off, the fries were cold.
Now I'm annoyed as heck. Wendy's your service is starting to go downhill. I used choose you over McDs all the time because I felt you were a better brand, but after tonight... you're just like them. Quality and service out the window!...
