So I too was here the other night when Mr “Michael Anderson” (two reviews below me) was having a not so great conversation with the manager there. Luckily for my nosey but I was right behind Michael and his wife so I heard it all. What they are saying is not correct completly. Yes they separated you but you admitted that they told you over the phone that they can’t seat party’s of 7 or more together, you proceeded to apparently ask again when you got to the vault and were again told no and then had this kinda rude outburst at the end of your visit for all of us to hear.
You’re saying he was rude, he literally just said the same words to you and I guess you didn’t like them “didn’t we tell you over the phone”. Man was upset he was split up with his family which I get but you were informed twice buddy. Go tell your buddy’s because I was a server years ago and in my experience, they probably don’t even want people that act like you in their business. You caused a big show but it’s funny because you stayed and ate.
Anyway my family of three loved it like always. It was actually super packed so again not sure what Mr Anderson is talking about again, it was a Friday night around 6. Anyone who knows restaurants know that it isn’t all that easy to get a huge party together like that last minute anyway on a Friday night at that time:
We had amazing drinks. I got the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak in the “vault” I think maybe it was called. It’s made in fresh pizza dough 😋. Portions are great I left full but still had lunch today which I was super hype about. My boyfriend and my son also enjoyed their meal as always. For as busy as it was, food came out super quick and amazing. Will be back, never a...
Read moreToday was to be a very special evening. 4 couples, 3 sisters, 1 brother and their spouses finally getting together for the first time since Christmas. First couple arrived around 4:45 and asked for a table for 8. The owner said they won't seat anyone until everyone is there. Ok, so they ordered an appetizer and drinks at the outdoor bar. We arrived next along with one of the other couples and all sat at the bar and ordered drinks. At this point we were told that they won't seat 8 people at a table, even though they have 2 tables set up for 8 people. We asked if we could have 2 tables for 4 next to each other. They can't do that, 1 table would be at one end of the outdoor deck and the other at the other end. Also they could seat 7 people at 1 table but not 8. This is so ridiculous and we asked for an explanation. Per the owner, 8 people at 1 table would overwhelm their wait staff. We were very upset and disappointed. What was supposed to be a wonderful evening had us all angry 😡. So 1 couple went to brewvino and put our request in for an outside table for 8. The other 6 of us finished our drinks and left. Surprisingly the restaurant wasn't even half full, empty bar stools and tables through out the restaurant. We have been consistent customers for about 3 years now, I meet girl friends for lunch and dinner monthly and couples as well. I'm so disappointed with how we were treated. We have seen tables of 8 in the past and we were actually a party of 8 previously. The night ended on a bright note with a wonderful meal at a table for 8 at Brewvino. We also talked to 2 other groups who had come from the vault after seating and...
Read moreOnly four stars because of service. Service lacks, but food is wonderful. They are friendly most of the time, but I check my takeout order every single time now before I leave because the food is OFTEN not what we ordered, or something is missing from the order.
Prices are higher than most, but I don't mind paying higher prices for good food if the order is correct. Just be sure to check your bags before you leave if you order take-out.
Of the last 10 times we ordered takeout from here, there was something missing from our order or something was made incorrectly on 8 of those occasions. (Yes, it got so bad that we actually started keeping a log on it)! It might be something small like marinara sauce or salad dressing missing, but when you're taking the food back to work where you don't have those things on hand, it's pretty inconvenient, and it can ruin the entire meal. I don't care much for salad without dressing.
Other mishaps included not toasting something when it was requested, putting onions on something when we asked for no onions (the taste stays even after you take the onions off), not making a sandwich a turnover upon request (which they offer on their menu and they charge for that upgrade), and forgetting the dinner rolls.
Again, if you want great food, this is the place to go, but you do have to check behind them if you don't want to be disappointed when you sit down to eat (takeout). I've only ever eaten inside a few times because it's always very crowded and service can be slow, like everywhere else these days, due to...
