The 5 star reviews of this location must be from Employees or Family who work here. This is the second time we have been here the last year, both experiences were similar. However, the latest visit, on 6/31 was beyond bad, and we wont be back. First the cashier seemed like he would rather be doing something else and could not answer any questions we asked. My wife said he might have been a new employee, not sure. Not only did he handle money, but he coughed into his hands numerous times, then handed us our plates, forks, and cups. We were there around 4:30, there were (2) birthday parties going on, not a table in the place was clean. we finally found a table, had to clean it off and wipe it down our self.
On my second trip to the salad bar, there was no salad. I waited about 3-5 minutes for someone to come out.. No Luck. I asked the lady at the front door to see if someone could refill the salad bar, specifically the Romaine (I know I sound picky). It took 5 minutes for them to come out, the young girl had no idea what she was doing. She filled the entire bowl with salad mix, did not bother the take the old wet and brown salad that was left in the bottom of the bowl out, not did she bother to get Romaine lettuce. No big deal I can work with this.
I had to ask the cashier for a new salad bar plate, and once again putting his hands all over the forks and tops of the plate. Why have the cashier do this??????
My kids had fun in the arcade, of course. However, my 10 year old was very frustrated with the machines not dispensing tickets. On many occasions and on at least 50% of the games, he would win tickets, but they would not come out. On one game he hit (2) 50 ticket jackpots, but the game dispensed just 2 tickets. My 2 year old enjoyed the rides and the slide. She had a blast could have cared less about the games.
When it was time to go, we only had 600 tickets, but should have had way more. Not many options for redemption in the 600 ticket range, no big deal. My son got candy and he was happy.
My son said he had fun but would rather go somewhere else next time. Frustrated the games did not dispense tickets like they were supposed to. My wife and I felt for the price, it was not a good experience. $75 for dinner and an hour in the arcade for (2) kids. Not terrible if the place is clean, machines are working properly, and if our food plates/forks are not fondled.
The manager was seen doing what looked like an employee review, in a booth, during what seemed to be a very prime time of the day. Maybe he should be spent having his team wipe down tables, refilling the tickets in the machines, keeping the salad bar refilled, etc.
I think next time we will hit the Andretti...
Read moreWe visited this Chuck E Cheese on September 29th of 2017. My 6 year old daughter had received a $25 gift card and we needed to use it, I dreaded going. Needless to say their gift card system was either not working correctly that night or not at all as the gift card came back with a zero dollar figure available. We then spoke with the Manager (Kevin) and the Assistant Manager (Raul) and explained that we had just checked the balance of the gift card the day before on our computer. We attempted to check the balance on our phones while at the location but conveniently the Chuck E Cheese mobile site does not allow you to check a gift card balance, the desktop site does however.
For the time being we had no proof as the mobile site does not offer a balance check and the 800 number on the back of the gift card also reported it to be a zero balance (clearly the same system as their register).
We decided to pay for our items as we had a 2 year old and a 6 year old that were getting very anxious.
We received our food very fast and it was surprisingly good.
Fast forward 45 minutes or so, our daughters wanted to play air hockey, we swiped our card and no puck came out. So I went to the prize counter to inquire about a replacement puck when a noticed a desktop computer sitting right there. Now I wasn't sure if I was allowed to use this computer or not but did anyway as I still had to prove a point about my gift card. Needless to say the system worked and displayed a screen indicating there was indeed $25 available on that gift card.
We asked to speak with the manager again, Kevin had left for the night, however Raul came out and spoke with us. After an explanation and the clear proof the gift card was valid Raul stepped up, BIG TIME. Raul is the only reason I am leaving this 5 star review.
Kevin (the actual manager) didn't want to be bothered with our predicament at first, we felt as if he dismissed our issue, and never even offered for us to use his desktop computer.
A suggestion to Chuck E Cheese: allow your customers to check their gift card balance on your mobile website. Had this been available it would have saved a lot of frustration for your customers as well as your management staff.
Raul: Great Job...
Read moreI do not suggest celebrating a birthday party there. They are not organized at all. We had 20 kids and 20 people as guests and they made us wait 25 minutes. The table was not ready. We had the ultimate package. It was the only one hosted to take care of us. The host was taking forever to serve, and clean. There was no place to put the presents. We kept asking the host to do the things that were left behind. There were not on time It was expensive and stressful! Not worth the money. Defy is great and Andretti is as well! Do you want to have a good time!? Don't go there!
DONT TRUST THEM! DON'T DO BIRTHDAY PARTIES THERE! GO TO DEFY!!!!! GO TO ANDRETTI!!!! GO TO ROUTE 7!!!!
Staffs at Chuck and Cheese has no idea what they are doing! The pizza was suppose to be unlimited for the kids and the staff was counting the pieces, she served the ice cream together with the pizza slices. The ice cream melted of course. She did not serve each kid at a time, she simply put all the slices of pizza there and after 30 minutes that was set there, she "announced" the kids to come to eat. I had no idea when they were going to sing happy birthday. The staff didnt clean the table to serve the cake. The table was nasty!!! She place the pinchers on the table so we could serve the kids (We paid to be served and not to serve, and that's part of the package). We ended up cleaning table, serving drinks, cakes, chasing the guests because there was no announcements, waiting 25 minutes for the card games so the kids could start playing. And the owner comes here to suggest me to give another chance and pay another $894 to see if his staffs are more capable. It must be a joke! That's how they are! Don't do birthday...
