Budget Inn Melbourne — Hotel in West Melbourne

Room layout was good in theory, had normal facilities and the expected “luxuries”, but upon closer inspection I found roaches, blood hidden under the pillows on the bed, on supposedly “clean” sheets, a toilet with no water in it, and a disgustingly unkept shower with mold on the curtains. People drunkenly argued and physically fought in the rooms next to us all night, but got told by staff that our kids were being disruptive. Creeps stationed all around the place, was excessively anxious about the kids safety, had several men who were hanging around the area accost and harass teenage girls in our group, didn’t feel relaxed even with the doors as locked as I could get them. Staff was hit or miss, some of the ladies were very understanding and patient with our kids, others were disrespectful and easily angered, one of the women was especially snappish with one of the children (who’s autistic). This place is absolutely disgusting!!!!! I had what looked like mesquito bites all over my body but hadn't been outside so I looked under the sheets and found hundreds (not exaggerating) of bed bugs. They look like little ticks and they hide in the seams of the mattress. Sad part is the manager said they were full and he couldn't do anything and so I can't sleep, I have work in the morning, and am now sitting outside waiting for dawn and hoping the owners will rectify this situation and reimburse me for the 3 nights (which were way overpriced anyways) that I've paid to have my body mutilated while I slept. I have stayed and many hotels in my time traveling with my company and I have never been into a hotel where the manager coat owner is rude and obnoxious you're not allowed to bring a visitor into your room and if you do have a visitor or they have to wait for you downstairs in the parking lot for only 15 minutes the manager stays locked View and the cameras and if you have a guest in your room you will let you know the next following day the owner would tell you how long your guess was in your room. I had to check check out for one day and was waiting for my ride in the parking lot and the owner came outside and told me that I was not allowed to stand and their lot because it did not look good for his guest or his business my new their rooms are filled with bed bugs they have roaches in their room the best sheets are not properly dressed the bathroom has mold and rust I would never stay at this place or recommend...
