Gary's Chuckwagon — Restaurant in West Newton

If you want somewhere good to eat without spending a lot, this is the place. Located in a quiet town of West Newton. The food is delicious always fresh and you get a lot, the service is great and I just love the atmosphere. Gary is known for his best selling hamburger 🍔, and it's really good. They also have a bakery right next door. Everything is homemade, cookies, 🍪 donuts,🍩 and homemade buns and bread 🍞 that is absolutely delicious and so much more! So if you're ever in West Newton and want a good homestyle meal stop in Gary's Chuckwagon and say hi to Gary. You won't leave hungry and you won't be disappointed!...

I was in for breakfast. I ordered the 8.50 breakfast meal with coffee and two pancakes. The food was really good. I ate every bite, and was full when I asked for the bill. It was a little over sixteen dollars. That was a little steep for me, but I paid the server, who was adequate, and went on my merry way. As I walked away from the restaurant, I began to wonder how a cup of coffee and two pancakes added seven dollars to my bill. That being said, I've eaten there a few times and the food is always good. Pretty bad... Ice cold steak and slow and inefficient service. Still gave the sweet lady a decent tip but wouldnt have if she wasn't so nice despite being nearly useless.

Honestly based on the reviews I'd say most of these reviewers have never had good restaurant food and/or can't cook.

Can't rule out the cook was just horrible but a lot of times with these smaller diners the people eat anything so I wouldnt take their advice.

Place across the bridge is way better. Or go to Suttersville and get a burger...
