China King — Restaurant in West Orange

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered food for my son and myself — regular chicken with fried rice for him, and chicken wings with shrimp fried rice for me. When I opened the container, I found a light-colored animal hair embedded in the food. Not a human hair — an animal hair, which is even more revolting.

I immediately contacted the restaurant. While they apologized for “cleanliness issues,” they completely ignored what I was actually saying. Their response was, “We wear hairnets,” which makes it clear they weren’t listening — I never said it was a human hair.

Cleanliness should be a priority in any food establishment. I don’t care about the $30 I spent — what I care about is safe, sanitary food. If you’re serving the public, especially families, your kitchen should be spotless.

This experience was unacceptable, and I will be contacting the Health Department to investigate further. I strongly urge others to think twice before...

Im so upset because this the only Chinese store i order from…recently i ordered fried vegetable dumplings, spring rolls and fried rice … i don't know if they are rebranding but literally everything was different and tasted bland …the dumplings didn't taste good at all and those are my goto so I'm upset about that its not even the same recipe or dough and I'm turned off …the spring roll was the same literally just cabbage and carrots no flavor the rice was a little burnt ….I'm so sad but ill have to stop buying from them now that the recipe is different smh so disappointed i referred so many people because i love the dumplings but now ill have...

Good place for a quick bite. Food is good. I order from here often. Super friendly too. They take cash or credit and are pretty quick with deliveries too! Edit: I've been ordering from this place for a few years now. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed as of late. I was charged 2 dollars for using my card. When I addressed it, I was told this was something they've been doing. Not to my knowledge. No utensils, napkins or even a fortune cookie. I will be looking for a new location and not ordering from...
