I recently visited the Dunkin location near me, and I must say, I was thoroughly disappointed with the overall experience. The staff's ignorance and lack of care for customer satisfaction were evident from the moment I walked in. It was clear that proper training and professionalism were sorely lacking in this establishment.
Firstly, the employees seemed completely oblivious to the concept of customer service. They appeared disinterested and unengaged, barely acknowledging my presence as I stood in line. When it was finally my turn to order, I was met with a lackadaisical attitude and a complete disregard for my preferences. It felt as if they were just going through the motions, without any genuine concern for providing a positive experience.
The morning manager, in particular, was shockingly immature and unprofessional. Instead of leading by example and ensuring a smooth operation, they seemed more interested in engaging in personal conversations with the staff, often at the expense of customer service. Their lack of focus and inability to handle even the simplest of requests was frustrating and unacceptable.
Furthermore, it was evident that the morning manager had not received proper training. They seemed ill-equipped to handle any issues that arose, often resorting to deflecting blame onto others or simply ignoring the problem altogether. This lack of accountability and responsibility only further highlighted the incompetence of the management team.
Overall, my experience at this Dunkin location was extremely disappointing. I look in my bag to see if everything was in my bag and there was no hash browns. I asked a young lady there that had long nails her name was Mimi she said, she said you can’t see we are busy right now I don’t have time to make your hash browns now. I looked at her perplexed, I was shocked she said that then another person said we will have it in a few minutes sorry. So I got my hash browns after 5 minutes waiting as I was walking the lady Mimi said have a blessed day out loud so everyone can hear her and she kept saying it louder and louder. The rest are great- I consistently see the same two girls- both make the drinks fast and correctly! The lack of starts is because of the Weekend crew- NOT it. Overheard someone training (it seemed) put cold brew in a latte drink. Was gonna continue to serve after catching the mistake- another worker said no- it’s a noticeable difference between espresso and cold brew, re-make. Training associate then tells manager it was the other person who makes the drink wrong, not himself, and the manager then says he would have just served it!!
