We went at 1230 and there were 8 people having lunch in a room that seats 40 plus. We were greeted by a less than welcoming hostess. We asked if we could eat in a table overlooking the runway. She said " no..We are keeping those tables open in case a big group comes." I thought she was kidding...she wasn't. We were then directed to a spot that you can't even see the runway...even with at least 12 other tables..and almost no patrons. Very bad start. Waiter with the same curt presentation came to the table and asked what we would like. My wife had scallops and I had fish..both with fries. Wife asked if one of us could substitute onion rings for fries and robotically he stated "no substitutions" and walked away. Absolutely unfriendly. Food came shortly and it was small portions but good. The unfriendly waiter came by when we were done..never checked in if we need more water, iced tea...or how the meal was. Waiter simply dropped the bill and didn't even look at us. Extremely awkward feeling...like we were in the way of their break or something. Small order of fish and chips and small order of scallops...$50...about $6 above what their website describes. I left a 20% tip...but shouldn't have after experiencing the rude service. Normal tip for me would be $40...not for those two unpleasant staff that seemed to be trying make our dining experience as cold as possible. And for the "big group" for tables that sent us to the corner...one couple arrived while we were there...in the corner..without the view that we specifically went there for. We wont go back and be treated like that again. Even on a Wednesday in October you can't even sit where you hope to...in an...
Read moreI simply come here on several occasions especially to get brunch while i do laundry nearby however today customer service was at an all time low. I don’t know who trained that young lady that’s serving at the bar, attitude stinks, I simply asked for a burger ,she said they don’t serve lunch menu until 2pm. I asked why is that because I’ve came here and received service before on several occasions, she just stares disgustingly then I asked can I speak to the manager the answer was a sharp “NO” then she walked off. Even if I would plan to have something else I immediately lost appetite. I’m wondering if it’s because I’m a black person wearing a gold chain she felt so comfortable acting out of class , or my aura “encouraged” her stereotypical rudeness. I resolve albeit the greeter who is a gentleman with a pierced upper lip at the door was very polite in explaining to me that on Sundays they don’t offer that menu and that I might have came there some other day. I left but if this is the last place on the island I’m not dining there again, they should probably encourage their bartender to pursue some form of training in...

This cute diner truly makes the most of its location within the very small airport, offering a unique and charming experience.
