I was very disappointed in my visit. I came in with an extremely large group to celebrate some events with my family and from the beginning the experience was not that great. My food was decent, but not what I expected for the price. I think most of the staff was working hard and being courteous, but one of the waitresses (with a bun in her hair) kept being rude anytime we asked her for something. She was "huffing" her breath whenever we asked her for anything, she accused my dad of eating my cousins food (I heard him order and he ordered the same thing as my cousin and I), she made us pay for the mistake with the food just so we could get my cousin his right meal (mistake was taken home in a box since it had to be paid for), and we were told that we couldn't all pay for our separate tickets since they weren't put in their system that way. I know for a fact I asked for my check to be individually separated, my grandma did, and so did my dad. The table was long so I couldn't hear everyone, but I was hearing everyone else say they split theirs as well. It made it difficult to pay them for the mediocre service we were provided. For 12-14 tickets that needed to be rang up separately they told us for the large group we had that they would only give us 4 receipts to pay. Not all of us brought cash to pay into 1 check with other family members and we didn't know our individual check costs. It was more difficult than it had to be. Then the waitress that had been giving attitude the whole time stated it shouldn't matter that the tickets are combined. One person should just pay for it and we can work it out later. That's bad service right there and it was not appreciated. I gave a 2 rating instead of a 1 only because of the effort of most of the staff. I know most of them were working hard. I will not return to the restaurant though. It was not worth the money or the stress to go back for what...
Read moreLet me start by saying, i called ahead to see if a reservation was needed for a party of 8 and a highchair for Monday evening, for my mothers birthday. The first thing the lady on the phone said we close at 8, so make sure you are out by then. That should have been the first red flag, but i continued with the reservation. Fast forward to monday night arrivals. I made sure to ask everyone in out party how their food was. Everyone responded with decent or good. Which i was glad, but i felt so bad and infuriated about everything else. We were trying to have a good night, but apparently the staff here doesnt care. We waited for refills, which were never filled or we had to ask several times ourselves until someone got refills. Not to mention, to our knowledge chips and salsa were on the house. But not tonight, when i got up to pay she had charged me 3 times for chips. The waitress should have said something. Im not cheap by no means its just chips and salsa but it would be good to know. When i went to pay, I didnt get a receipt until after i paid, so i don't really know what we got charged with, but how much could it be. As she tells me the total im low-key baffled. Considering there was 2 children and my mom and her friend shared a plate cuz too many chips were consumed, im shocked it was that high. As we exit i look at the receipt that was given to me after paying and noticed a 20% gratuity already added. Cashier failed to mention. No wonder she laughed at me when i said ill leave the tip on the table, she knew the waitress would be getting two tips without my knowing. Service was terrible, food was decent to say the least, lets not even mention the appetizer that came after we were almost done eating our entrees. Pathetic service, terrible staff, not recommending to anyone. Maybe one day they can get their staff in check, but as is, don't waste your time nor your...
Read moreMan does this place live up to its hype!! I’ve been told so many time to go here and try it.. I’m sad I waited this long. Pros- 1- Extremely friendly staffed. 2- The taco bar lady was so awesome. 3- The vibe at the restaurant was pretty legit 4- Obviously the food was. My favorite meat at the taco bar was the spicy pork. I didn’t care for the chipotle chicken that much. The salsa verde was very flavorful and the Carne Asada was good not the best I’ve had but damn good! 5- The price!!!! For a total of almost 20 tacos a yummy cold beer and Diet Coke and tip wasn’t even 40 bucks! I’ll take that any day. Cons- 1- We sat down, it took a little longer than I would of thought to be greeted… however the service from there was amazing. Smiles and just a good attitude. 2- The table felt a little sticky on top 3- the chips with the salsa, not my favorite. They seemed like chips I can buy I at Walmart. 4- The parking lot and Location. Location not my favorite place in town but it does give that small hole in the wall feel. Like you’re the I my person that knows about it. The Parking lot was very small and little room park. Overall… this place was pretty epic. My mother of all people whom is very hard to please with Hispanic food and she loves this place and I can see why!! I will be back, probably a lot more than I thought I...
